flip screen makes your eyes look up..otherwise, clear quality.

I thought I can look into the camera and speak to it as I do with my Iphone when taking selfie etc. It is NOT like that, becuase it clearly looks as if I’m looking up at the screen,,not at the camera. It’s not what I’ve been looking for, and maybe now I ask around, what I’m looking for is an iphone, which I already have, but don’t use for Youtube. Why can’t camera companies make something like iphone camera screen that flips back, but great for Youtube. By the way, that was my main concern, but also, the touch screen doesn’t seem to work. Don’t know if anyone else had this prob or just the one I got.
