Nice size and plenty of hard drive space

Nice size and plenty of hard drive space, great deal for the price. I haden’t purchased a new console since the Wii having been mostly PC at this point, but a few of the playstation exclusives sold me on getting on and I’m very happy with it.

Right out of the box, the provided controller does not pair even after a factor reset. I tried this controller for each USB port and rebooting my gaming system. I resolved my problem apart from Sony support. Amazon shipped out my PS4 without a bad USB cable for its controller.

Great System, Needed The Extra Space-Without Having To Use an External Drive ;p)

Great system, just like the original I had. I sold it to Gamestop to trade for this one because of the bigger HDD, because I hate using external storage. Just to complicated to transfer games back and forth, playing from the drive itself isn’t always a good experience. And unplugging it can cause all of your data to become corrupt. So in that aspect XB1 is definitely better for multimedia purposes, as it was meant to be. I got this Friday, even though the release date for all other retailers is today. So that’s pretty cool. The only bad thing about gamestop is that when you get something new and open it, it’s yours, no returns. And even if something is wrong with it, they will exchange it for the exact same item, but not without giving you a hard time about it.My only gripe is this is much louder, and runs much hotter than the CU-1500 model. But it doesn’t seem to really (hurt) the system. It just runs hot, even just in idle, and even sleep mode. Not sure why they didn’t do a better job at cooling this thing. That’s my only concern, for longevity. But it’s great so far, let’s hope it stays that way. Overall very pleased. It’s just a new SLIM with a 1 TB HDD, which they should have released in the first place. We should be up to 2 TB internal space by now. Oh well, still a great system. And it’s the same price as the 500gb version. Which I find strange. Happy gaming!!

Runs smooth, small footprint & perfect HD size

PS4 runs smoother & has better UI than Xbox. If you’re a Baseball fan – they release an amazing simulation. That’s an exclusive along with many other great ones. If you’re good with 1080p as I am, this console version is perfect. Very slim footprint, small power cord & has upgraded WiFi & Bluetooth. If you’re looking for 4K, you might want to consider the PS4 Pro.

Former Xbox user.

As a former Xbox user for 8 dedicated years I have to say the PS4 really is ahead of its time. Compared to the Xbox One, well, there in no comparison.
