Stunning… and by this I mean Absolutely Stunning 1080p Picture Quality that is very easy to adjust on the fly. Vivid clear colors and very good blacks too. Amazon Prime Movies Included With This TV As Of September 2016!There is also a nice groove in the back where I added a low profile Bluetooth Transmitter plugged into that small headphone jack. Pairs up automatically with my Bluetooth Insignia Receiver. Still searching for a better / low latency transmitter. The one in the picture works to prove the concept, but I have to keep the receiver right next to the transmitter if I want the sound to match up with the picture.Insignia NS-STR514 200W Stereo Receiver With BluetoothBuilt In Available Apps: I mainly use Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, Crackle, and Vudu. If you want more streaming options, either hook a computer to the HDMI port or spend a few bucks on the Amazon Fire TV stick. I did both just to prove a theory. The fire stick cuts out all the clutter and has a much better interface with my iPhone.Decided not to care about the Miracast, even though there are plenty of YouTube videos on the subject. Here is the link for people like me (low frustration tolerance) that want their HBO Go (And A Lot More) to play on just about any TV.Amazon Fire TV StickThis TV has Optical Digital Audio Out, Coaxial, LAN, Red White and Yellow RCA Audio Input, Small Head Phone Jack, 2 USB and 2 HDMI ports –which makes this totally compatible with the Amazon Fire TV Stick, Google ChromeCast and Roku Stick. The USB movie playback supports MP4, AVI, MOV, MKV, ASF, MPEG1 2 and 4, WMV, XVID –and a whole bunch more (see page 21 of the manual).Actual dimensions for the 48” Model:The Stand Is 29” Long X 9.5” Depth X 2.25” HighTV without the stand is 43” wide X 24.50” High.Of all my favorite features, the remote has a “pic off” button that lets you shut down the picture and keep the sound going. I use this to shut off my brain at the end of the day.
The Good:- Picture quality is outstanding- Motion rate is great. It’s native 60MHz but Sony’s firmware does get it to 240MHz range- SmartTV works well. Slightly sharper picture than with my Roku. The Not So Good:- The sound quality is average to below average. I have other Sony Bravia HDTVs (smaller) which have much better sound quality. If you’re going to use external speakers, then not a problem. It drove me to external speakers.- The location of HDMI1 and Audio(optical) ports are problematic if wall mounting. Whoever designed the location must have been smoking weed at the time. The wall mount plate will cover these ports. I needed these ports so I had to hacksaw my wall mount plate to access. See photo. If not wall mounting, then not a problem.Overall, a great picture makes up for deficiencies that are correctable if you address.
Arrived last night ahead of time and the set up was by far the easiest I have ever accomplished. I am 66 year old female and consider myself weak at understanding directions. I zipped through the set up like a master, including the Wifi and Xfinity X1 box set up (HDM1 connection). A genius programed this TV set up with me in mind and the remote makes total sense. Love the fact it has a Netflix button that takes you directly through Wifi to Netflix. I can’t give enough praise to this Sony Bravia 32 inch TV. This one is mine and perfect for my bedroom. The color is brilliant, contrast is great, wonderfully crisp and sharp. Best color TV I have ever owned or viewed for that matter. And the sound exceeds what I would have expected on this model. I realize that there are few reviews on this model and that is because it is a brand new model I guess. I recommend you stop here and buy this TV. I don’t understand that semi negative review about it being too pricing for what you get. I strongly disagree. I think it is reasonable considering the high quality. I will mention that I initially purchased the TCL Roku TV and had to return it. Couldn’t set it up and after 8 hours of telephone support I couldn’t get anything to work as promised. So I am elated that I made the right choice with this TV this time.
I purchased this TV when it first came out to replace the Vizio I had previously ordered. We watch TV using the Sobetter 50 Miles Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with Detachable Amplifier Power Supply and 9.8-Feet Coax Cable and the internet content has improved with the addition of Amazon Video!!We can now access Hulu, Netflix and Amazon video. The resolution is amazing and I like the fact that Sony constantly improves its TVs by releasing software updates that are easy to install by just clicking on download now or update later.
The image is good, but the OperaTV interface is slow and lacks of good apps; I use the TV as a non-smart TV, is not even connected to the network.
The best picture quality ive seen besides the Samsung 4K

I am SONY loyal and have great TVs in the house but this one has issues. Awful picture, does not deliver even close to specs and advertised capability, no ability at all to get…
I got the tv on time. I really enjoy the picture and sound. I know some people have trouble with the screen going black but that’s actually a certain mood.
Watch out if you are mounting to a wall. The ONLY HDMI connector will likely be covered by your mounting hardware (depending on type).
Good picture, but had to unplug and plug it back in to get it to work. Would not recommend.
Not too smart. Tv only has 2 apps;; media player and Netflex. No way to upload more app. Has to add a Riku to get Yourub; $40 more.
Met all of our expectations and enjoying it everyday.
