Perfect Fit - Excellent design

This case fits my Sony HSC90V perfectly. I was truly designed for that exact camera. The quality is superb. It makes taking it places look so much more professional. worth the expense in my book.

Sony LCJHWA/B Jacket Case.

An excellent case of nice leather. Very good protection and handy when you want to take pic. Pop the snap and shoot. Very nice looking as well. If you want the camera right at hand rather than fiddling with velcro or zippers on a belt case this is the item you need.

Don’t bother with the generics, just get this OEM one!

I purchased the generic TARION PU Leather Camera DSLR Protective Case Bag Cover for Sony HX90 WX500 Coffee case (a black version, which for some reason is only available at Amazon.co.uk, purchased when I was in London). It was too big and clumsy and easily came off. I guess if you want this type of case, just go with the original OEM version. It is a nice perfect fit and seems durable. I guess this industry is not like smartphones where the knock-offs and off-shore generic brands are competitive and make better-fitting products.I like how this case has the two-parts and two ways to open up (from front or back), though sometimes I will admit it doesn’t seem very secure and I wish there was a way to lock it in so it would be more secure, for say if you were taking a picture over a ledge, etc. Either way it’s better than nothing and no product exists that does exactly what I was looking for. It is worth noting that the fact this case adds the two metals loops make this valuable for me since you can use neck straps with it. Also note that like many cameras and cases of this type, you cannot access the battery/SD card compartment with the case on. Why can’t camera manufacturers in this range return to putting them on the side like I had on my Canon a long time ago?! :)

Perfect fit for DSC-HX80.

I purchased this case on the assumption that, even though I could not find a definite answer it would fit my HX80 camera even from Sony, that it would since the HX90 was similar except for GPS. Thankfully it is a perfect fit. Case seems to be well made and offers great protection for the camera. The camera is held in the case by a thumb screw that screws into the tripod socket. This case is made by Sony so it fits the HX80/90 perfectly.

Two snaps make the difference!

Despite all the excellent reviews, I was a bit nervous ordering this case, never having used a case that is directly attached to the camera. I was worried about whether the case hanging down would get annoying as I took pictures, but was happy to discover that not only is there a snap to keep the case closed, but when it is open the part that hangs down can be unsnapped and stored. One small thing I’d add would be to put clips on the strap so one can remove the strap when not in use, but that is something I can easily do myself. I think this is going to be the best camera case I’ve ever owned!

Does a great job for me,

Sony has a way of making things “look good”. This little case not only looks good but it appears to be well designed and made. Super easy to fit the camera and lace the neck strap. Can’t comment on its durability as its rather new but it sure looks like it will do a nice job of camera protection. Carrying is light and unobtrusive - a natural fit feeling. One button unsnap and case cover flip exposes all the camera shooting controls for a quicky shot. Great.

Sony case for HX90V is a winner

Before purchasing this case for my Sony camera, I had read numerous reviews of other, less expensive ones, most of which complained of poor fit, inaccessibility of USB port, not being able to flip up the view screen, etc. I decided to gamble on this one, assuming Sony would have designed the case to avoid all of these problems. Happy to say, the case is flawless! Fits perfectly, sturdily built, leaving access to all controls, and looking very professional. I would urge anyone with this camera (HX90V/RS1) to get this one. It attaches to the camera via a tripod-compatible screw, and the lens-and-viewscreen cover attaches with two heavy-duty snaps on the bottom. When in place, the cover affords excellent protection against scrapes and impacts; when removed, it makes shooting a breeze and tripod mounting simple. This little camera, loaded with features and great performance is worth the expense of buying the best.

Perfect case for the SONY HX-80

I needed a case specific to the SONY HX-80 and this case fit perfectly. Very nice protection for my camera and easy to open and shoot while the case is still on.
