Best stick ! Glad I spent more on this. Tried this in the mountains in pool and in the city. Never experienced issues mentioned in one star reviews. Don’t laugh but my usage pattern is photo with sony a6000 camera with kit lens! It is strong enough.

i bought this monopod in used condition but somehow came in looks and smell brand new!but ofcourse without the original sony packaging!i like to use this monopod when iam outside with my son, one thing that sometimes annoys me is the twist and lock mechanism but that is very minor! the monopod it self is feels sturdy and durable and im pretty sure it could take up some serious beating! slightly heavier than i thought but thats just how quality build supposed to be anyway!

Great monopole

Well built sturdy pole. Locks nicely with a twist. Comfy handle with a security wrist band. Camera platform knobs also tighten well to secure camera.

Needs better durability. The stick came apart after about 10 sessions out on the mountain. The poles completely separated from its self while I was trying to extend the poles out.

The concept is good, but the execution is terrible.

Junk - broke the first day I had it.The telescoping pole gets stuck too easily making it awkward to extend or compress. There’s a plastic clip above the spongy handle that came loose within minutes of opening the package - it rattled on the pole for the 3 times I used it before it completely fell apart. The wrist strap is just an annoyance - no practical purpose as I could see (I removed it almost immediately).But the worst part was that the 3rd or 4th time I tried to use it, I pulled it to extend and 2 of the extension pieces came apart, right in the middle of the pole. It was stuck pretty tight, so I had to pull pretty hard to get it to extend, and when it did, it just came apart in 2 pieces.Very disappointed in this product from Sony.
