All good. The upscaling feature is amazing. Splendid TV. Arrived the next friggin’ day with Prime shipping and zero damage.
Overall this is a great TV. The screen gets very bright and the contrast ratio is very good thanks to the local dimming. The black levels are also very good. It gets nice and dark but never washes out or diminishes the colors and brightness. Dare I say it almost but not quite matches the quality of Oled. I would especially recommend this TV for HDR movies and HDR gaming. It really looks impressive. This is a great TV for the price.
No need to sacrifice gaming performance for stunning picture. Best of both worlds at an affordable price for 65” 4K HDR backlit TV.
Great picture! Awesome in my budget theater. Color is great and the television is very light also. We are very pleased.
Coming from a high end plasma I’m pleasantly surprised by the picture quality. As other reviewers have noted its not perfect (what is?) but the picture quality is quite impressive. The 2017 Sonys are the first LCD’s I’ver seen where I don’t feel the need to spend the extra money for an OLED. Blacks are deep almost like the set is off. Off axis viewing could be better but its not a deal breaker.
for the gamers x900e input lag 32 ms in 4k 60 hz confirm 55 and 65. good for price.
My original intent was going to be buying a 60” Samsung KS8000 or a 55” LG OLED flat screen. When I saw the Sony 900E 65” compared to them both, I was blown away. The brightness and colors that this TV puts out is amazing. The blacks are very good as well.First movie I watched was Avatar, and the colors that were showing were simply amazing, even in a well lit room.Very happy with the purchase and my decision to go with this Sony TV.
Dead on arrival. Never turned on. Working with Sony to resolve. Will update once replaced.
Just returned this to the local Big Box store. Serious, serious lip sync issues. And not even close - like a show will go to commercial and the news anchor will still be talking!
Local dimming performance is absolutely excellent
