    Product Description

Almost every part of the body has garments designed with moisture wicking, fast drying technical fabric to enhance your exercise. The new SPEG UV-Pro Beanie Cap offers moisture wicking, cooling and UV30+ protection for those with medium to short and zero head hair. The SPEG UV-Pro Beanie Cap is manufactured using a combination of CoolDry® fabric and Spandex for flexibility. The CoolDry® fabric combines the comfort of cotton and the quick-dry performance of polyester fabric. It maximizes the transmission of moisture from the skin to the outer surface of the fabric by a combination of special capabilities. The tetra cross channel cross section of the fiber results in weight reduction of 25% when compared to regular polyester. The tetra channel structure of the fiber makes CoolDry® more breathable, which repels the moisture quicker and keeps the body drier and more comfortable. The SPEG UV-Pro Beanie Cap offers a sun protection factor of SPF30+. We still recommend you wear sun block as SPF30+ represents around a 97% of the sun’s harmful rays being blocked (SPF 15 blocks 93%). Its tri-panel design offers a good fit for all head sizes and a stylish look. Don’t be caught without yours!

Product Reviews

I love it!

This under helmet cap is perfect for under my bicycle helmet. It may be a little tight as some have said but that depends on your head size. My head size is 23 18” or 7 38’s , snug but no issue when riding, dont even realize its on except that I dont have sweat in my eyes😄. A customer stated that ( sept. 2, 2015) that it left lines because of the way its sewn on the inside. I too had this issue but if you put the cap on sideways it lessens the lines. Even better I found that if you turn the cap inside out the lines dissapear compleatly. I imagine the lines ( indents) are even less if your head is less than a 7 38’s.Perfect cap for HOT days it really lets the air in but will go back to wearing my cotton surgical skull cap in colder weather.Color other than white might have been nice but since its under helmet no one sees it anyway. If its a deal breaker you could buy white and dye it to the color of your choosing.

thin, easy to wear, feel cool

way better than EVS one i bought at the same time i wore EVS to keep my ears tucked in, but if you dont want to cover your ears then choose this one thin and cool easier for motorcycle helmet. going to buy more just in case i need to wash them.

Good so far.

Just had some melanoma removed from my scalp, so I’ll be using this under my helmet from now on. Still healing so I haven’t ridden with it yet. I’ll try to remember to report back on it is heat wise.

Works great!

I have worn this several times so far on runs in 70-90 degree heat and it has been amazing! I have yet to wear it under my cycling helmet (just haven’t been riding much this summer) but I’m assuming the performance will be even better while on the bike with a little more wind. This is by far one of my favorite workout clothing items now, and I don’t care if you think I look silly running while wearing it!

Amazon is a great tool for product discovery

Finding this product exemplifies a great way to use Amazon: product discovery. I’m new to biking and one of my first purchases was a helmet–the kind with all the fancy ventilation holes in the top. Makes me look hip and keeps me safe, but the helmet made me wonder: Am I the only balding guy out there who has been warned by a dermatologist to keep my head protected from sun? Surely there has to be a product to solve this need for biking! Searched Amazon for a few minutes and found this solution.

Excellent product

This cap exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a cap which would prevent “racing stripes” on my forehead from a new, well ventilated helmet. This cap does the job very well, without interfering with the good ventilation of this new helmet. It provides no insulation which would allow heat to be trapped against the skin and once wet with sweat it provides some evaporative cooling whenever one is moving. This evaporative property also keeps sweat from running down into my eyes. It is large enough to cover my head (L to XL hat size). It is easily cleaned (wet under faucet, drop of dish soap, squeeze a bit, then rinse) and dries quickly when hanging.

Pimmpin

Allow me to offer this cool-headed review ; ) Keeps my bald head cool and the sweat out of my eyes.

it does a great job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes …

Works as expected, it does a great job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes when I play golf

Great liner

This is exactly what I was looking for and has performed exactly how I need it to. The best under cycling helmet you can buy

Top hat works

A good product, I used it already and it works just fine.

My go-to sweat cap!!

I have three different cycling sweat caps and this is my favorite. It is a lighter-weight thin material that doesn’t make me feel hotter, yet it handles my sweat well…

Five Stars

Husband wears under his cycling helmet and loves it.

Two Stars

too small

Nice lightweight Product That Is Advertised

I wear this under my bike helmet to provided a layer of protection from the sun; doesn’t add to the heat factor at all. Color options would be nice.

Three Stars

Stretcthing with use.

Five Stars

Works very well and seems to hold up

fricken love this thing, wear it under my motorcycle helmet and helps keep my hair back (as it is kinda of long) i would recommend to anyone.
