Spintech Sidewinders are some of the highest performance brushed motors available for your micro RC! Get more thrust and faster speeds with these 8.5x20mm motors! We have tested our motors against regular Hubsan motors and ours generate 15g more thrust. See photos for details. Please break in motors at medium throttle for first 3 flights. And always allow motors to cool between flights.

If you’re using stock motors on a micro racing quad, you need these.

Yes! These are what my QX-90 was waiting for. I personally have not tried MMW motors but I think they come from the same place. As best I understand, these as well as the MMW motors are Chaoli motors. I could be wrong and they could be a different kind of Chaoli motors since there is more than one variety but these essentially turn my micro from a hobby grade feel to a scale 3.5-4s racer feel. I would absolutely buy these again.

These motors are pretty awesome compared to my stockers in the Syma X5C.I had to modify the stock motor mounts to get them to fit, but it is a nice upgrade for my cheap bird.And at such a decent price point for 6 of them - you cant go wrong.Time will tell on their longevity, but initial impressions are win!

Very powerful motors on my Rolling Spider custom build. I really enjoyed these, they made me want even more speed so I stepped up to a 4” brushless racer.Highly recommend these for micro drones.

Great motors!

Fast little motors! Fit perfectly in my tiny whoop. Haven’t had any problems with them. Still running strong!

The difference is amazing

Upgraded my stock Hubsan H107C motors to these Spintech motors, and the difference is amazing. I can hover now by barely touching the throttle, and it flies to smoothly and lightly and powerfully. I’m instantly doing maneuvers that I could never manage before, and I’m sure it’s just going to get better with practice. It has been a fun journey first learning to fly in standard mode, then learning to fly in expert mode, and now learning to fly in expert mode with upgraded motors. I will probably get another set to upgrade my H107D as well.The only disadvantage is that these motors come in a 6-pack. I with they would sell a 4-pack at a reduced price.

Spinning wrong direction

Anxious to see products performance but two of the motors were spinning the wrong direction so it’s impossible to know which way the motor is actually oriented…going to try and just switch them and see but payed extra to get away from this exact same problem with the RJX motors seems like these motors will always have potential to be garbage no matter how much you pay

one fail out of six, not terrible…

one is stiff after about 4 batteries. but the rest seem to be quite zippy!

These little guys scream on my qx-95, and have far outlasted any other micro motor I have used.

One motor was DOA, and a second was extremely tight and gets hot fast, working motors were excellent, 2 stars for quality control issues at this price point.

I’d rate these higher except half of them spin the wrong direction according to the wiring colors. Otherwise they are ok for many uses and are high RPM as described.

Good little 8

Good little 8.5mm motors that i used on a f3 evo hexacopter build. I’m a little sceptical of claims that they produce 15g more thrust than comparable hubsans.

Sorry Very bad impression with Spintech. One of the motors came damage out of the box. I wasn’t expecting this for my first experience on buy this renoume product.

They are really fast, way faster than CHAOLI, hubsan and similars.. but in 5 short flights only hovering and without any strong crash and also with props guard, 2 motors got kinda…
