I have cancer and I’ve been hanging in there long past expected. I’ve been doing chemo for almost 8 years. Due to all my medications, (especially zometa) I can’t go to the dentist. Honestly, I never expected to live long enough for that to be an issue.But it has been. I take very good care of my teeth-I use an oral irrigator, I then brush and floss, both with a regular toothbrush and then an electric one and I finally use mouthwash and peroxide and a European gel to keep gums healthy. So imagine my surprise when a brown area of tarter appeared despite my efforts. I drink a half s cup of coffee a day and don’t smoke and it only appeared on one tooth. Weird.I wasn’t there one day and next I looked-I had a smokers tooth. Black. Ick.I needed to get it off but I have super sensitive teeth so didn’t want to try steel. so I searched and found this tool.Well, I did scrub for about an hour, but it worked. The before/after pictures speak for themselves. The only issue is that it is a crooked tooth that got dirty and I can’t get between them with this tool so there is still a line of brown. If it had a much smaller edge it’d be better. The plaque is also in bumps in the tooth next to it and this tool only works on a flat area. So I will have to use a steel dental scraper anyway. However, this little tool worked well, was gentle on my tooth and I can use it if this ever happens again. I recommend it as long as you aren’t trying to get between teeth.I’m going to up my oral hygiene game even more. I spend 20 minutes a day on teeth, not I bought more products for more work. If I’m going to live, I need clean teeth!

Absolutely Works.

I’ve been using this Staino product for years, and it absolutely removes superficial stains (coffee, tea, et al). I get my teeth professionally cleaned every six monthsz and I use the Staino eraser on visible teeth (mainly my bottom front teeth) in the interim.Obviously, it won’t remove stains on composite fillings, nor will it whiten teeth yellowed by age. It is strictly for spot stains caused by food and beverages, and for that it has worked for me.

Ok so I never ever leave reviews and was a little sceptical before I received this - I honestly thought all the reviews were fake. All I’m going to say is this actually works. I smoke, drink black coffee and love red wine and always get staining on my front bottom teeth that looks gross after 6 months. I usually spend $150 getting my teeth cleaned. I bought this and a descaler kit. My teeth look exactly the same as if I spent $150 at the dentist. Takes a little effort but worth it definitely!! Would recommend using crest strips afterwards and your teeth will look perfect!

It actually works!

Works on stains from drinks. Will not work on deeper discolorations, which is why I think some folks are disappointed. But if your stains are from drinking liquids – a good give away is that they exist primarily along edges of cuspids and nearby teeth (i.e. less likely along the front which isn’t where liquids collect) – then these work great.I wish there were more published data on safety / enamel effects though. I am hesitant to use it anywhere near as frequent as suggested (twice a week).

An eraser of stains IT IS NOT! But it does clean em a little

I could see some difference after rubbing this on my teeth really hard for a while. But the darker spots on my back teeth (which is what I bought this for really) did not disappear, no matter how hard I tried

Definitely works! A great product!

The product is smaller than I expected, but it still does a great job. I drink a lot of coffee and smoke and get black stains on my teeth. I bought a tooth scraper along with the Staino. After scraping my teeth to get the dark black coffee dark stains off, I used the Staino and my teeth began to turn much whiter. It is hard work and takes a while, but the product really worked on my teeth. I highly suggest this product!

It Actually Works!

I was skeptical, but for the price, I decided to give this item a try. I drink a lot of coffee, and as a result I tend to get coffee stains on my teeth between cleanings. I hate the way these stains look, and using a Sonicare toothbrush and fancy toothpaste wasn’t effective in removing them. I got this product in the mail and immediately put it to the test. In short, it works! The one or two major stains I focused on were completely erased. I was a little shocked to be honest. But, it worked as advertised. This thing easily removes surface stains from teeth. Totally recommend it if you are a big coffee drinker or smoker.

Wasted a lot of money when this little product will …

WOW. I have tried EVERYTHING! Tooth polishers of various types, toothpastes, etc. Wasted a lot of money when this little product will do! Takes awhile to ship, but it is worth the wait. Takes a little diligence for the rough stains, but just keep at it and use regularly.

Was skeptical…

Wasn’t sure if this would work, but took care of my tooth stains that I wasn’t sure were in the tooth. Workee like a charm.

You are better off with the other ones.

this is going to require lots of hand rubbing since it is not electrical like the one that is at a right angle and had 4 rubber tips with pumice paste included.
