Well Made, 13A @ 125V Or 1625W Capacity, Plug It In And It Just Works: Perfect

The Startech 6ft Extension Cord is exactly what I needed. It’s heavy duty and has great connectors that are well made. It has polarized slots for 2 prong devices. It’s rated at 13 Amps at 125 Volts or 1626 Watts.Sometimes a shorter cord is better than having a lot of unneeded cable hanging around and 6 ft. is perfect for my project. Startech provides a variety of lengths in this product listing. Nice.An extension cord isn’t rocket science. It’s not something I want to think too much about. Startech has a well made cord and now that it’s deployed and I’ve written this review I am confident I’ll not need think or worry about it again. Perfect!

Simple. Simply Works

This simple extension cord works well. There is nothing fancy here. The interfaces between the cord and the male and female adaptor are strong and have held up after much plugging, unplugging, and outdoor use.I appreciate that it is black so it doesn’t even look like an extension cord, not calling attention to itself like so many others I have.

StarTech has it down!

I’ve bought a few cables/cords from StarTech now, and they can’t be beat–they have the perfect sizes, rugged cords, and at a more than reasonable price. For this specific 3 ft extension cord at the time of writing this, I couldn’t find a better price for even less quality cords anywhere. StarTech’s products are highly recommended!

Gets the job done well

This did the job for what I needed it to, which was to provide power to a sound bar I had put high up on a valance and wanted to power from an outlet close to the floor. I was able to secure this with some u-shaped staples to the side of the window frame and I’m happy with how things turned out.

For when the power is 6 feet from where you need it.

I definitely voided the warranty on this one. Range hood I bought on the cheap needed a kit to run electrical, but those kits cost as much as the range hood did and are for wiring it directly to the wall. Instead, I got this. I cut off the female end, stripped the wires inside, watched a few youtube videos to become a master electrician and wired it into the range hood. The plastic is nice and thick and well insulated. the inside wires are also well insulated but there is no internal structure to prevent bunching and the twisties that cords get when someone who doesn’t know how to coil a cable does you a favor and ruins your cable. This is a sturdy cable that will last you a long time as long as you don’t go chopping it all up. You can trust me, I’m a youtube electrician.

Is it really long enough?

Does what it is supposed to do. Just keep in mind that you can’t add length to it. Alot of times you’re better off with more. I would get at least 10 feet. I’m saying this because I ordered this and it ended up being about 6 inches to short :-( so I ended up ordering a 10 footer too.

Great cable at a good price.

Our bedroom is small so we needed an extension cord to run from one outlet to the other side of the room. The distance is about 11 feet, so we ordered this 15 foot long power cord. It’s 13amp and plugged into the outlet very snugly. The outlet is behind our kiddo’s toy kitchen and the plug doesn’t protrude overly far, so the kitchen can still fit against the wall. The cord itself isn’t overly flexible or stiff, and it was super easy to run it along the wall to the top of our dresser where we needed it. It’s functioning perfectly.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality extension cord.

Short and sweet

Simple, practical and yet my battery booster pack didn’t have one. This makes plugging it into the outlet at home and recharging it so easy since I don’t have to wipe out my 20ft extension cord to power my booster back up.
