What really sold me on this product was the video. Our little guy is just starting out t-ball this year and we thought this would be a great trainer to introduce him to seeing the ball move instead of the ball being stationary. He’s only four now, but my husband learned how to swing at a young age too. Another feature that sold us on this product is that as our son grows we can adjust the trainer to his height. It’s still on the lowest setting right now, but it’s nice to know this isn’t a one and done product as our son gets older.The trainer comes comes with four wiffle balls and a bat, but we’ve found out that we can use real baseballs and an aluminum bat also.Looking forward to the start of the season!
Product is a good training device for VERY small children
Product is a good training device for VERY small children. The downside is you child will need your assistance with this. Whether they’re too short to put the balls back in to the hopper, or too “advanced” after a few minutes the release lever falls off when pushed. The lever is meant to be universal and can be put on either side to favor left or right batters. I just glued the lever on mine as I don’t switch the sides or disassemble it. The only problem I have with the product is the price is high when really only my 3-4 year old can use it, it’s too slow and non functional for my 11 year old daughter. That being said my 3 year old loves this thing !
The balls are always getting stuck.
I regret this purchase. The balls, wiffleballs, baseballs, tennis balls, whatever you try to use do not often release cleanly. We are always dislodging stuck balls. They get stuck on the first level or the third level right in the middle of the track. How hard would it have been to make the track slightly bigger?. It is probably better for children 12 or older that can more easily deal with this issue. My 6 year old hates this. I thought baseballs would work better being heavier, but they got stuck even more. When balls are not getting stuck, it is releasing 2 or more at a time. Oh and the lever will just fall off if you don’t keep pushing it back on.

My 3 year old love this. He was able to get the hang of pressing the release and getting ready to swing with just a little help in the beginning. Now he has the hang of it and loves taking swings in the yard.
Definitely a hit!
We got this for my four-year-old son for Christmas and he loves it. Just as the videos show, he can release a “pitch” all by himself by pressing on the yellow paddle. My children are extra tall for their age so we like that this can grow with them.
I like it more than my son!
I think this is an awesome little thing, but I just wished my 3 year old liked it more. I get the feeling he is a bit too small. He actually does better with me just tossing him a ball.

Very disappointed in this purchase. Not at all what I expected and very expensive for just plastic. Would give it less than one if I could.

It is great toy for my son he loves it. Will be honest it was a pain in the butt to put together and I am an engineer. lol but the kiddos will love it.
