Does a lot for the money
For the money, this unit does much more than an item you could build yourself. The display, however, is not backlit, and is inverted (black on white) from the unit shown. Also setting various parameters (like setting when the load can go ON/OFF) is very confusing; I will try to update with instructions after I get some experience with it. This is neither a boost controller nor an MPPT; your panel has to have more voltage than the battery. Make sure you get the appropriate model for Li-Ion or lead acid, as they are separate models!

So, I have everything hooked up to my 5th wheel.HQST 100 watt panel loose so I can move to the best location. 30 ft. Cables connected the my Sunix CC. Connected to my Interstate deep cycle battery. Tried this out at my house the other day and everything worked well. The true test will be 6⁄1 when we camp for 8 days on ocracoke island with no hookups. Will update after the trip.. Happy camping. 😁

Does the job and more
Works as advertised with my solar system on my camper. Wired easily and the output shut off is great to prevent ghost draw on your system. Regulated and protects the batter charge and will divert directly to the load. Load and charge limits are easy to set up. Couldn’t be happier with this little unit. Does more than expected. Also fun to watch the PV output as the day tracks along.

Great price but the seller’s pictures makes you believe the screen display could be inverted as they show. IT CAN NOT.
Good small controller.
Easy to read display. Small size. The USB outlets are a nice addition to charge my phone.Using it in my RV. The print on the instruction sheet is a little small though.
