Was very skeptical about this as it seemed to be cheap plastic, however I was surprised as we actual get 2-4 bars on our phones from most rooms (we did place it in center of house), worth the money from my standpoint.

From no signal to LTE

I used with weboost and a splitter.Gives me LTE where prior, I could not even receive incoming texts.Use Yagi antanea for best results

Difficult to mount

I bought this dome antenna to replace the whip antenna that came standard with the booster. While I think the dome antenna works well, it’s design does not take into consideration that it needs to be mounted on the ceiling. The mounting issue is the reason I’m giving it a 2-star rating.Surecall recommends that this antenna be mounted on the ceiling, so I cut the ceiling and out in an electrical box with a plate, mounting the antenna onto the plate, and running the cord above the ceiling. The antenna as a plastic rod that screws tight with a big plastic nut. If you just punch a hole on the ceiling and mount the antenna through the hole, I guess it will work OK although you need access to above the ceiling to screw the nut, OK if yo have an attic access. If you use a box like I did then there is no way to mount without a plate. But then if you screw the plate onto the box, then there is no way to mount the antenna onto the plate.So at the end, the antenna is just sort of hanging loose from my ceiling, very unprofessional looking. I would have given it 4 stars otherwise.

Worse than the right angle antenna that came with the SureCall Home4. It does not penetrate even a hollow door let alone a wall plus it requires about 100 degree angle to work. A waste of time for me at least.

This product does not come with all cabling. With the kind of money being charged, the equipment should come with compatible connector and/or cable to link the unit with base unit. Even after I bought the connectors separately, I did not see any performance gain over default antenna that came with the base unit.

I ordered 3. 2 of them work great and 1 works ok. It seems to be lacking in gain. I tried swapping them around, thinking it may be a bad connection or wire, but no. Just a bad 1.

Signal actually dropped with this antenna and it ihas a terrible mounting system.

My situation: 6.3 miles away from verizon cell tower with one tiny spot outside getting 2 bars of service. The entire house and property otherwise is without service.
