Added protection !!!

Added protection for my precious GoPro. Very nicely made and sturdy. No issues with distortion on footage. I drove with it suction cupped to my Jeep during the onset of Hurricane Irma. Water brushed right off without rain dropping my screen. Snorkeling in the Florida Keys prior to the storm was perfect. I needed the protection because I like to stick the camera inside coral crevices etc. No scratches!!!!!

Plastic Not Tempered Glass

Item is listed as having a tempered glass but it’s made of plastic/plastic like material; definitely no glass material present. Advertised as “Made of real tempered glass that protects the original screen from shattering, scratching, scraping and abrasion.” Not sure if they shipped the wrong item or advertised incorrectly.I purchased this on Monday and I received it on Wednesday so the seller ships it quickly which is great. Upon opening the package I noticed that there was some imperfection on the front side of the case where the camera lens would be. I tried wiping it with my shirt from the inside and noticed that some marks appeared on the surface. It seems that it is definitely made of plastic and it’s not glass. Glass would not scratch per se. You can see in one of my pictures showing the backside of it opened up and if you look closely at the surface of the plastic surface you’ll see a imperfection on there.I did purchase another waterproof case extremely similar to this which I did not like. The buttons for the power and controls were protruding further than expected and any little bump actually turned on the camera. This one does not protrude like the other one and that seems better.I do just like the disclaimer about having to test the product out before actually using it. They are not the only one to list that disclaimer. How ever I believe that if your product was manufactured with high standards that there should not be any need to test it out ahead of time.I will update my review if I hear from the seller about the tempered glass versus plastic and if testing it out turns out to be unsuccessful.

The case was very effective in keeping my GoPro dry in wet situations and kept it safe with the camera sliding on rocks. I found it difficult to cycle through the modes by pressing the small button on the bottom. I also like the safety lock on the case.

Brought this before went on trip, they ship it the very next day and tried it several times underwater: LOVING it!!! Works wonder and definitely water protect for my new GoPro!
