For the utility draw or toolbox
The pictures shown with this listing all seem to be about wrapping small bundles of wires together. For that i think they are overkill even though that was my original purpose for buying these. I’ve used them for so many things that i’ve got in the habit of always carry some with me. I’ve used them to attach water bottles, travel mugs and flashlights etc to luggage. For that alone they have been invaluable. They are strong and sturdy.
Wonderful Widget Wrangles One’s Wayward Wires
I’m a musician and a DJ. Consequently I have lots of wires to manage. The thing about wires is this: THEY LOVE TO GET TANGLED UP WITH THEMSELVES & OTHER WIRES. You have to manage them or they’ll get out of hand in a hurry. Think Tank has devised an ingenious way of corralling wires. You wrap the red fabric covered elastic bands around the cables, pull the head trough the loop, then squeeze the button on the black thingy to tighten up the grip on the wires. Done! Easy to manage cables and wires both large and small. And the bright red makes these easy to see. If you want to manage your cords, this is a fine solution for that need.
Love These, You Can’t Have Enough
Love these, bye-bye Velcro wraps and twist-ties forever. Just pinch and slide and the cable is kept tightly wrapped! The red elastic can open really wide so that annoying laptop charging brick with laptop cable on one side and power cable on the other can all get held together in one lump, very cool. I had gotten a few that came with a ThinkTank bag I had purchased (best photo bags in the biz) and it was love at first usage, and was quite happy to see them for sale on AMZN. Highly highly recommended if you have cables all over the place.
Little ties do a BIG job
These little ties are handy in countless ways to cinch up wires, cables and anything you want to “hold together”. I use one to hold a roll up cloth cable storage bag. They give quick access to UNROLLING or UNDOING something as well with their well designed pinch fasteners. I thought a pack of 10 was a bit overkill but, at this point I’ve used 5 of them for different purposes! The “string” portion of the product is tough and looks like it could lift a 40 pound box w/o breaking. IF you need to cinch together or otherwise HOLD an item in place these are fabulous.

Bought these on a whim, but am really liking them in use! There’s a lot of ways to use them… as straight-up rubber bands, as cinch-ties, or as quick button-hole loops for smaller things. I’ll pick up a dozen more… they tend to get loaned out, never to return :)

We used the “whips” on our luggage during a recent three-week trip to Southeast Asia. Untie the knot at the end, slip off the “clip,” loop the whip over the luggage handle, reattach the clip and slide it towards the handle. The strands are stiff enough to stand up, so they are easily visible as the luggage arrives. Also worked on backpacks and carry-ons.Funny story: a fellow traveler asked what the “antenna” were on the backpacks my wife and I were using. We told him they were part of a GPS system so we could keep track of each other’s location. Sigh.
