Package Quantity:2 The TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE BA toggle anchor provides a secure hold from within various hollow materials ³⁄₈” to 3-⁵⁄₈” thick including gypsum board, drywall, and concrete block, includes ³⁄₁₆”-24 UNC-threaded bolts, and is made in USA. The anchor channel will not rotate when installing the bolt, whether installing by hand or with a screw gun, and will stay in place if the bolt is removed to facilitate fixture and screw changes. If using bolts other than those supplied, the anchor accepts ³⁄₁₆”-24 UNC metal bolts with a minimum length equal to the thickness of the item being fastened and the thickness of the mounting material plus ¹⁄₂”. The SNAPTOGGLE anchor meets Federal Specification FF-B-588-D for Type V anchors. The anchor consists of a corrosion-resistant zinc-plated steel anchor channel that inserts through a ¹⁄₂” drilled hole in walls, ceilings, or floors and installs against the back side of the mounting material; plastic straps attached to the channel that position it into place; and a plastic cap that slides down the straps and presses into the drilled hole firmly to lock the anchor channel in place behind the mounting material. Once the cap is set in place, the straps snap off by hand. The item being fastened affixes to the mounting material by inserting one of the included bolts through the item, into the drilled hole, and through the anchoring channel behind the material and tightening.

Great for hanging heavy items on those flimsy steel studs as well as sheetrock.

The price is a bit much, but well worth it. Very simple to install & simple instructions. Extremely solid and works great for not only sheetrock, but also for those thin flimsy steel studs on newer apartments/condos. A friend attempted to hang a wall mount for her TV using just the small lagbolts that were included with the mounting kit. A week later, things were sagging.I reinstalled her mount using these (drilling through the sheetrock and metal studs). Orientated the bracing horizontally so they were using the surface area of the metal studs, and the Mount/TV are SOLID.I plan on picking up more in different sizes, as the ones I purchased are overkill for hanging smaller things.Great product! Worth the few extra bucks.

Terrific Alternative

This toggle is far superior and easy to use, compared to most of the other toggle bolts out there. I had been working on a project to set up a tool storage rack on a wall that had only one stud with which to work. Spent hours, trying all sorts of combinations to make it mount with stability…….to no avail. Read about these, ordered them, and in 20 minutes had both installed! Easy to follow instructions, with immediate results.

Great to use with metal studs…

Used 2 of these to mount a 6U rack against a wall with metal studs. The rack itself isn’t light and it’s holding a 2U UPS as well as other things and I was really concerned about it coming off the wall. These seem to be doing the job really well.I know they’re not supposed to need the studs at all, but I didn’t want to risk it so I drilled through the metal studs and put them in there.

#1 choice for hanging heavy things to walls.

These things are a must have if you wanna anchor heavy things to walls. So easy to use and they hold a ton of weight. I recommend that before you zip it into the wall to make sure the bolt will thread down on the toggle anchor, I used quite a few of these and it helped on getting them started without stripping or breaking off inside the wall.

Awesome to hang my projector screen to the ceiling

I bought them to hand my projector screen to the ceiling….. I love this product…. There is nothing like this at my local HD or Lowes…. I love it and I will keep on buying it, please dont change the quality

Good anchors!

Easy to use and works well for its intended purpose.The plastic is hard and has good hand feel and allows for ample dexterity trying to put in the drilled opening in the wall and position it before locking it in.

These as so much better than regular toggle bolts

These as so much better than regular toggle bolts. The are stronger. If using multi regular toggle bolts, you must drill all the holes and insert them in the work piece that you are using while trying to mount the work piece. Also I can remove the work piece and reinstall it as the SNAPTOGGLE is still there, verse reinstalling new regular toggle bolts if I remove the work piece and want to reinstall at the same location.

Great Product

All the toggles came in great condition. I’ve used many to mount heavy items on solely drywall and everything is holding up. Definitely an easy install. Just make sure you have the correct bits to drill the hole!

These are my go-to toggles when it comes to mounting TVs on walls, etc. very easy to use and extremely good weight retention with normal dry wall.
