The TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE BA toggle anchor provides a secure hold from within various hollow materials 3⁄8” to 3-5⁄8” thick including gypsum board, drywall, and concrete block, and is made in USA. The anchor requires a 3⁄16”-24 UNC-threaded metal bolt with a minimum length equal to the thickness of the item being fastened and the thickness of the mounting material plus 1⁄2”. The anchor channel will not rotate when installing the bolt, whether installing by hand or with a screw gun, and will stay in place if the bolt is removed to facilitate fixture and screw changes. The SNAPTOGGLE anchor meets Federal Specification FF-B-588-D for Type V anchors.
The anchor consists of a corrosion-resistant zinc-plated steel anchor channel that inserts through a 1⁄2” drilled hole in walls, ceilings, or floors and installs against the back side of the mounting material; plastic straps attached to the channel that position it into place; and a plastic cap that slides down the straps and presses into the drilled hole firmly to lock the anchor channel in place behind the mounting material. Once the cap is set in place, the straps snap off by hand. The item being fastened affixes to the mounting material by inserting a bolt through the item, into the drilled hole, and through the anchoring channel behind the material and tightening.

Anchors provide reinforcement to a fastener that would otherwise have insufficient hold in substrates such as concrete, brick, stone, drywall, or other materials for a particular application. The fastener may be included with or integrated into the anchor itself, or it may be sold separately. Anchors provide support through various methods, including expansion from within or behind the substrate or even adhesive compounds.
TOGGLER Anchor System manufactures wall anchors and toggle bolts. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Norwalk, CT.
This is one of those “man, this REALLY comes in handy” products. Or “Why didn’t I think of this?” Perfect for those pesky drywall jobs and holds a lot of weight. Had a little difficulty finding bolts. Home Depot only sells 3⁄16 2” bolts with other generic toggle mechanisms. Luckily, 10x24 bolts fit too but make sure you get two inch or longer. Unfortunately, these too do not come in boxes or large quantities at Home Depot. I have to buy them in a 4 pack.Update:Buy these #10x24 x 2⁄12 from Amazon and you’ll have done the job right: http://amzn.to/1cNGaPE~Orange Jeep Dad
I have ordered dozens of these in the past, and will continue to do so for as long as they sell them. I am a professional cabinet installer, and I swear by using these for both the lower and the upper cabinets when attaching them to walls. I also use these when mounting TVs to walls. You don’t even have to worry about hitting a stud or not. These anchors will hold up any size TV!
Yup, worth the extra price.
Great for anchoring bathroom grab bars when a stud isn’t available. Note that this package does not include the screws which must be ordered separately.
Best drywall or hollow wall anchor out there. The 3⁄16 over the 1/4/20 diameter is far more reliable. 1/4/20 have a higher install fail rate (plastic breaks, and anchor falls through wall), though if installed correctly rate higher. The 3⁄16 are the all around go to. Strongest hollow wall anchor on the market for sure.
These are GREAT. GREAT. I’ve used a half dozen styles of these by now, these are fast, sturdy, super easy to install. Best I’ve used by far. You need to also find 3⁄16 screws at an appropriate length to pair with these, no big.
Amazing what these things can do and the amount of time they have saved me in not having to open walls put in blocking and re drywall.Just remember to purchase the machine screws separately.
These togglers are quick and easy. They stay in the wall and allow repeated installation and removal. They do not come with bolts so I ordered #10 by 24 bolts for the 3⁄16 inch by 24 toggle bolts. Your length will depend on the job.
I love these, very simple to use and strong as heck!
clever invention. has its place among the various types of wall anchors.
Prefect for hanging heavy stuff
These are the best way to install grab bars
This makes mounting items to a wall (interior or exterior) so easy.
Wow. This blows a toggle bolt out of the water. Way strong and easy to use. Highly recommend.
Best toggle anchor out there. essy to install and rock solid. Holds single bolt stair rail brackets easily.
So easy to use and quick! They provide fantastic support to items we are mounting on the walls. Haven’t had one fail yet.
