Fill the base with water and it instantly becomes heavy enough to hold the unit in place. Non-skid pads underneath help keep it stable
Unwrap the cord, hit the ball as hard as you want, and the ball bounces back to you. -The harder you hit the faster the ball is rebounded to you
Rubber cord is 15 feet long and stretches to 30 feet for hard hit balls. To shorten the rebound, wrap some of the cord around the base to your desired length

Broke and needs re-design

Elastic and connection broke after a few weeks of use. Amazon was willing to replace for free so we will see if the replacement rates more than 1 star.

I have a lot of fun with this tennis trainer

I have a lot of fun with this tennis trainer! It is difficult to keep the flow going but every once in a while I can hit it 10 or more time. What a workout!!

good practice for any age

Bought this trainer for my 12 year old grandson. He enjoys it, and uses it daily.He’s just a beginner, and needed something to help with hand and eye cordination.The trainer seems to be fun for him and not a chore.So grandson doesn’t realize he’s actually benefiting from practicing with this.

Works as expected.

My son likes this and used it often. Until the ball broke off. I was disappointed that it seemed to have to be replaced so easily. Wasn’t too expensive and there are replacement parts so I’m not surprised, but disappointed. It did work well for the month until it broke.Delivery was speedy and product arrived as described.

My husband said it gives you a workout and is an excellent trainer. Very pleased with this purchase.I’m adding to my initial review because I am now hooked on this product. Its not only a great workout, its also FUN! Our tennis game has really improved and we play every day. We warm up using the Fill-n-Drill. Eventually the ball/elastic will come off so be sure to order a couple replacement balls. I love playing tennis now and would like to add that this product is great for everyone!

will provide you with many hours of useful pratice with ground, volley and service strokes base stays put with water no need for sand. I use it daily. take it to the courts and after two hours of use your arm will be played out. returns from service i believe can reach very high speeds. 100+? mph. its in the reactive force of the rubber band. great design and easy to transport. give it a try.

String does not stay attached

The string does not stay on the ball; therefore I do not get to use this trainer often, it can be a little frustrating. The concept of the trainer is good, just not the design.

Improvement guaranteed but ball detaches easily

It has forced me to improve making me do the basics over and over again, but sadly after 2 weeks of use, the string detached from the ball. I tied it up again.
