Size:Gigabit -10/100/1000  |  Style:POE Injector (15W)

View larger The PoE Injector TL-POE150S fully complies with IEEE 802.3af standard, and can work with all IEEE 802.3af compliant PDs (Powered Devices) and PoE Splitter such as TP-LINK’s TL-POE10R, to expand your network to where you wish to place PDs but has no power outlet. PDs include but are not limited to Access Point, IP Camera, VoIP Phones.

How It Works (1) For 802.3af compliant Powered Devices On the input side, connect the injector to its power adapter and a data source such as a router or a switch. On the output side, connect the injector to a Powered Device such as an access point, VoIP phone, or a PoE camera.

(2) For Non-PoE Devices On the input side, connect the injector to its power adapter and a data source such as a router or a switch. On the output side, connect the injector to a splitter, and then to a non-PoE device.

Product Reviews

5 Stars! Exactly what I needed..

Works perfectly. I got a Amcrest Bullet that is not WIFI and just have the crappy ISP router so needed this to get the POE going for the Surveillance camera. This was all it took to get things working now I just need longer wires to put it where I need it. Anyhoo if you’re facing a similar issue since Amcrest does not provide the adapter with the camera that has to have one to work then this what you need. Then you just need to get a handle on the user interface of your camera. That is still a major pain for me since it’s just a home security cam and can’t afford a huge setup or professional installation. Hope this review helps. Let me know below… Thanks!

15.4 Watts of PoE power GB speed to simplify wiring

I’ve had this adapter running for over a month and It does the job without problems. The combination of Gigabit Ethernet with PoE delivered very economically. PoE simplifies wiring by sending 48V through the LAN cables themselves: great for putting wireless access points or security cameras where AC outlets are not accessible.I used this to power a PoE access point located away from power outlets. The access point had a power budget of 6 watts - only about half the 15.4W this injector can supply.Installation is trivially simple. Plug in the switch-side LAN cable and the device-side LAN cable, then the power brick into an AC outlet and the other end of that into the injector. You are ready to plug in your PoE device at the other end of the device LAN cable. Easy-peasy.I have used PoE before with PoE switches like the Netgear ProSAFE 24-Port Gigabit PoE Smart Switch, the Cisco SG200-26P Gigabit Smart 24 Port PoE Switch and more recently the Buffalo 8 Port PoE GB Switch. If you have a bunch of PoE devices like in a VOIP phone system, get a good PoE switch. If you just need one or two PoE devices this power injector may be a very good solution. For providing a simple but essential function well and being so very easy to install the TP-Link TL-PoE150S has earned 5 stars from me.Hope this helps someone who might find PoE a good solution in an isolated situation.

Can power a Polycom IP 7000 PoE conference phone

First injector was a dud, it kept flashing green. The replacement is working as designed and powering a Polycom IP 7000 PoE conference phone. I do like that the LAN jack is on one end and the PoE jack is on the other, should make it easier for users to plug in the cables in the right place. The unit itself feels cheap, it’s very light weight unlike other PoE injectors I’ve used so I hope it’s durable and lasts for at least a few years.

Nice little switch.

I’ve powered a couple different sets of wireless access points with this switch in the time I’ve had it, and each worked well with no troubles. Management features are generous, including cycling individual switch ports, which essentially reboots the device powered from the PoE port. That’s all I need, and it does it well. Note: The first four ports have PoE, the other four ports do not.

Perfect for what I intended

So far, so good. I bought this switch with the express purpose of powering a TP-Link AC1200 wireless AP and consolidating other appliances in my network. I haven’t yet tried out any of the advanced functions, but even out of the box, this worked perfectly.

Works great and at a good price for a managed POE Switch.

Works great and cheap managed Switch - 8 port POE Switch with “4 POE Ports” TP-Link 8-Port Gigabit PoE Easy Smart Managed Switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BW0AD1W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Set the managed switch up connected to a local laptop or desktop first if you need to use anything other than subnet 192.168.0.X/24. You can change the IP/subnet and other settings in a browser while your PC or laptop is statically assigned an IP in the 192.168.0.X subnet range and cable connected to this router.

Worked when another one didnt!

I first bought a different brand injector that was rated similarly but it would not power my 12v 750ma unmanaged switch. This unit does the job great!

Powers POE phone and android tablets

Bought to power android tablets over Ethernet, works great. With the right tablet, you can have a nice remote power and hard wired Ethernet setup.
