It is different from the gray-colored Pro card**** old model tested, not the current U3 model***** old model testedFastest Sequential Read:All tested cards were able to accomplish > 90MB/s, with the Lexar 1000x able to take advantage of UHS-II speed when using the bundled USB reader and leading the packFastest Sequential Write:Sandisk Extreme Pro, Samsung Pro+, Transcend Ultimate 633xFastest Random Read:Kingston 90R/80W.Fastest Random Write:Samsung Pro+Best overall:Samsung Pro+ and Sandisk Extreme ProOther observations:Performance and price are not proportional when it comes to selecting a microSD card. Some of the worst performing cards in this review also happen to be the most expensive. Not all 633x cards are created equal. The two cards reviewed from Lexar and Transcend are both marked as 633x but vary in performance greatly.4k video recording using action cams and drone cameras have a typical bitrate of 60mbps or 100mbps, corresponding to 7.5MB/s to 12.5MB/s. All cards in this review should theoretically be able to handle this usage easily.Using microsd card as supplemental phone storage potentially could benefit from a faster card,Best Looking Card (if it matters):Sandisk Extreme Pro: Red/Gold with white printLexar 1000x: White/Gold with Black/White printSamsung Pro+: White/Black with a red stripe and Black/White printPNY Turbo: Lime Green/Black with Black/White printUpdate 9/14/2015: Added additional cards to the list.READ MORE

Top performer, won’t hold you back

I bought this a long time ago, I though I reviewed it, but forgot. This along with the SanDisk Extreme Pro (UHS-I/U3) are some of the best Micro SD Cards for the higher-end smartphones that are currently out and being released, especially the ones that excel in the camera department.I have a LG G4, which is rated as one of the best quality smartphone cameras of this year currently, and this is the card I currently have in my G4. Additionally it will be used in my batpaq from nexpaq (Kickstarter) when that releases and ships in January.I personally don’t record 4k video because I don’t see the relevance of it right now for the products I have. Also to note, my smartphone doesn’t have 4k recording as an option, it has UHD (Ultra HD) which is 3840 x 2160 resolution. So, I used that as a test to check out the consistency and quality of the write speeds, and it performed extremely well. No stutters, quick and everything. I did a 21 second video that is 77.52 MB. It shot quick and consistently and saved within a second after shooting.I did a benchmark using A1 SD Bench on my Android smartphone, and the results I got was the following (which is also attached via a screenshot to this review):Read: 81.15 MB/sWrite: 41.07 MB/s.Great Micro SD Card, I DEFINITELY recommend it.READ MORE

Tested 90 Mbps Read and 80 Mbps Write. This Card is Legit!

I love this class 10 u3 micro sd card cause the speed is accurate not like other ones that I have tested read and writting speeds. I have a couple of programs that will let me test the speed of SD cards and believe me that not all that says it is fast is really fast as they advertise it.Firstly when a card says transfer speed is 90 Mbps does not mean that the writing speed is also 90 Mbps. Most that I have seen that says transfer speeds at 90, they write at 20 Mbps and has an average of 80 Mbps. You can see the writing speed on the specifications of the product you are buying and if it is not there that can only mean that it is not fast. The program that I use for testing speeds will act as a video camera and write and read to and from card different size files multiple times to get an average speed. And I am glad that I can honestly say that I love this cards is legit. I will try to upload the video review here.

This saved my motorcycle camera setup!

This saved my motorcycle camera setup! Polaroid XS100 Extreme Edition HD 1080p 16MP Waterproof Sports Action Video Camera With Full Mounting Kit Included On paper I really liked this camera. It seemed to work most of the time when I first got it too. At some point I must have swapped the memory card I was using. They were both Class 10 speed rated cards but one or both must have stopped performing as required. I had problems with corrupted video files and the camera stopping after a few seconds of recording. While trying the memory card formatting step as a fix, which didn’t help, I happened to notice a quick error message that popped up on the TV while I was testing. It said,, “Memory card too slow.” as it shut off. I was using Polaroid 32 GB High Speed Class 10 MicroSDHC Flash Memory Card. I then ordered a Transcend 32 GB MicroSDHC Class 10 UHS-I/U3 Memory Card with Adapter 95 Mb/s (TS32GUSDU3) and now it works great!’ *** Ultra high speed or at least real world high speed seems to be critical. ***

Ran Into Recording Issues with Go Pro Hero 3 Silver

Used this on my Go Pro Hero 3 Silver (GoPro HERO3+: Silver Edition) but ran into some issues when it was recording. For some reason the files weren’t transferring even when I formatted the card. Ended up returning this card and getting PNY memory cards instead PNY U3 Turbo Performance 64GB High Speed MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-I, up to 90MB/sec Flash Card (P-SDUX64U390G-GE)

Works great in GoPro 4 Silver

Card works great but the adapter when used in my PC does not give me USB 3.0. I think this is due to my reader in the PC not supporting 3.0 speed. This is not the fault of the product. Just keep in mind that you might need a better reader on the PC to benefit from the faster transfer speeds - this card works great in my GoPro 4

One Star

Worked barely for a year. It’s not readable in any device now. Have to throw it.
