Failed after tightening clutch
First failure in my transmission after tightening slipper clutch for higher traction tires. Wish the spring pin was a bit thicker.

Cheap replacement part I just wish it never broke. It’s kind of a hassle to get to on some models. I also understand that we would rather have a spring pin break than a crucial part of the transmission.
Be careful putting the gear on..you’ll break the pin
This is one of those things you really don’t want to have to replace but eventually you will have to. One of ours broke after a year of abuse so I ordered this and the Traxxas 3195 Top Steel Drive Gear. The pin in the top is what broke and after trying to put the new one together I found out real quick why it broke. The pin is not a solid pin so it bends really easy if you don’t get the gear on just right the first time. I learned my lesson and ordered another one and it went together just fine. Just be careful because it break really easy.
Excellent replacement
I had to replace my shaft in my stampede after shearing the originals pin at the beach. This was a perfect replacement; didn’t have to use any spacers to get it to work like some other after market replacements.

Works good. Broke mine and replaced it with this one. It’s not the most durable piece on the market but it works fine for everyday bashing.

Bent the first one that came with the car and sheared off the roll pin. This one works as needed.
Must have if running lipo batteries
Sheers pin off if running on 2 cell lipo even with factory brushed motor. Although we were bashing it up on a very steep hill doing sweet back flips.

IT does the job. Getting the gear on the shaft was a pain. I had to bang it on, The pin is hollow. Im sure ill be replacing it soon.
Received it in bad quality.
When it came in the mail, the package was damaged and the little tiny part going through the shaft was bent.
Weak link
This is the weakest link in your drive train. Although this is a perfect replacement it’s as weak as the factory version.
I buy em five at a time!!
A must for any RC tool box. Be ready to change afew of these until you get your slipper clutch setting dialed in
