Standard null modem cable. Works as it should
Works as it should
good
I use these to connect to the DB9M serial port on Alix2D13 systems running pfSense. They all work well and are good build quality.
I bought this cable to use with a USB to serial converter that I bought. The USB to serial converter has a male end and I needed a female end to configure a Brocade FWS624G Switch. This cable works perfect for this purpose.
I bought this to use with my Cobb AccessPort Version 1 for my WRX, it works as it should and allowed me to update and transfer maps to and from the AccessPort.
This is used in conjunction with other hardware from monitoring computer communications between systems. Also to direct connected between two computers for testing interface capabilities. The use is infrequent so reliability is important to me in trusting that it work. So far no problems.
When you need a null modem cable…Well you don’t need them that often anymore, however this one works as expected.

Awesome! Works as described, good construction, low cost. Buy a bunch of them while you are at it. I got 2.

I figured we were beyond the age of NULL MODEMS, but such is not the case in the enterprise device world.
It’s a null modem cable, works as expected.
