Learning curve, but worked well.

Worked well, I regained some back spin on my irons, but that only lasted a month. There is a learning curve to using it, understandably. I bet I get better the more I use it. I would presume that if I use it too often the clubs will wear out quickly, but they will be more useful/effective until that time.

Good tool for the price. Will see how long it lasts.

Good product and it does what it says it does. It does a great job at freshening up the grooves on my older irons. The only con I have about it is that it likes to get caught on any small imperfections that might be in that particular groove and then it will jump out of the groove. Knowing this happens the first couple of times I run the tool through each groove I go very slowly which helps to ensure that it cleans up the nicks if there are any.

Great product, great price

I bought this product to help get the schmoo out of my wedges and irons. It helped me rejuvenate and sharpen the grooves on my old vokey wedges. The built in bottle opener is a nice feature but was not really a selling point.

Perfect tool to get that spin back!

Great product and exactly as advertised. I used it on 2 of my very old copper wedges and it worked like a charm. Both wedges were obvious with more spin than before. Glad I bought the product and will keep it in my bag from now on.

Didn’t work for me

Don’t waste your money. Tool steel is not hard enough to re-groove Ping G5 irons. Barely produces any filings like a carbide cutter does.

Love this tool. Can clean your clubs if that’s all they require. But if your clubs have been neglected, the TruGroove can literally bring your clubs back to new.
