The Umarex 2279040 Hecker and Koch MP7 AEG Airsoft Air Gun Pistol is an electric gun that shoots BBs at 240-FPS. With a 180-round capacity and a built-in hop-up BB system you can shoot for long periods of time without reloading. The Flip-up sights are a great accessory as well as the integrated accessory rail and detachable grip. Powered by 7.2V NiMH rechargeable battery and charger included.

Great first gun!
No its not for you high tech airsofters out there! I got this for my little brother. Its his first airsoft gun! Great for indoor and okay for outdoor on a calm day. A powerful gun i might add! He loves the semi and full auto options. A lot of rails to mount stuff and the sights are awesome! Overall a great deal for what you get! Great side arm. I suggest you get another battery just more and longer power!
I should have paid full price.
I made the mistake of buying the Amazon open box deal. The gun, the magazine and the battery we’re all shipped bubble wrapped together. But there was no charger or owner’s manual included. And my 2 day Prime shipping mysteriously turned into 3 day free shipping.It looked ok and seemed to work fine at first. But the battery was wedged into the gun with one of the battery wires wedged between the barrel and the plastic frame of the gun. When we finally managed to free the battery there were 2 spots where the insulation around the battery wires were exposed and the thin plastic around them was completely worn away. Was very disappointed.I purchased this so my son could use it at a friend’s airsoft birthday party. And after 30 minutes of use at his friends house it would no longer seat the magazines. The plastic mag release was apparently shot. I guess I know why the original owner returned it. But being innovative he wound up fixing the magazine retention issue with duct tape. So at least he got to play. Magazine changes were a nightmare though.
All in all, a great gun
Purchased this gun and it works great! I use .25 gram BBs with the hop up fully on, and the target grouping is within two inches of each other at 30 feet. Its a great gun all in all. I do wish that the sights were removable so i could attach some sights but the iron sights work decent enough. I applied an extended barrel/mock suppressor and it shoots a little more accurately now than before. My one wish is that there were more spare magazines that I could purchase for it. (maybe mid-cap or low-cap) The orange tip is removable which is nice for milsim CQB but the fps is a low so be wary.

i like everything about it but when putting the battery in, it’s where you have to bend the cords to make the battery fit in the gun which i do not like doing because it risks the cord by it not sending power through the cord but i got to say is great gun
Amazing until it stopped working.
POTENTIAL BUYERS: This gun was amazing for 1 week. It by-passed my expectations, and I loved it. On the 8th day, it would not fire. I didn’t overcharge the battery or anything. It just stopped working. It also had 2 other downsides: The high-cap clip was pain to load and the battery was Ni-Cad: In other words you had to run down the battery every time before recharging.Other than that, pretty good.

This airsoft gun is great! My grandson loves using it when him and his friends go play in the backyard. Only problem is the battery doesn’t last long at all. It actually lasts for half the time it says it will.
Waste of money!
Worked two months and stopped working. Never worked again. Not abused and got very little use before it broke. Not worth the money.

Do not buy this is an overpriced piece of garbage you are better off throwing the bbs than using this gun.
Terrible
It is not a good or reliable airsoft machine pistol like the more pricey counterparts. If you use a battery higher than the one it comes with itll melt the insides.

Not bad for the $
Fun gun! Don’t ever get it wet. First one died after exposure to light rain. Doesn’t claim to be water proof, but it should be at least a little resistant.
