Product works, read this so you don’t break your phone like an idiot (me)

Product worked and my phone charged up. Couldn’t test out other functionality because………..I’m an idiot and didn’t notice some dirt got in between the front glass and the LCD/digitzer. LCD cracked when I was reassembling phone- cya later phone. Luckily Verizon got my back and I got an upgrade for wayyyyyy cheaper than I thought it’d be. Worked out in the end and a good lesson learned.PRO TIP: WHEN YOU ARE PUTTING IN THE TOUCH SENSORS FOR THE “BACK” AND “EXPLORE” BUTTONS (on both sides of the home button), you will need to lift the interface between the front glass and the digitizer/LCD. DO THIS IN A HOT STEAMY ROOM like your bedroom (jk just use your bathroom with hot shower) so dust isn’t floating around. Also make sure any dirt/crumbs from your phone don’t get in there. When reassembling your phone, gently push the front glass/LCD together AND LISTEN FOR ANY CRACKING OR GRINDING OR POPPING SOUNDS. If you do not heed this warning, may god have mercy on your phone.So screen didnt end up working but the phone charged up. Decided not to return it because I deserve to be punished. Tools will be really useful later on too

Works great with no issues

Item worked great. Do not have to remove complete lcd. Just loosen half of the adhesive and lift bottom about ¹⁄₄ inch to access the flex lights and use tweezers to remove and replace with new one. Make sure the led lights sit flush in the cutouts of the housing. Close and heat adhesive and you are done.

Can save a big service charge if you are game to do this

Don’t buy this. After going to all the trouble of removing the LCD and putting everything together back together and I tried to plug the charger to test it the charging port broke…
