Blank Glass Fiber FR4 Single Sided Copper Clad Plate Laminate Universal PCB Circuit Board Sheet for DIY.
For the price these are ok and get the job done for simple prototyping. It takes some more work to get these ready for use because of some type of clear waxy coat that comes on top of the copper which must be sanded off. As a result of incomplete removal of the coating, some sections of the circuit will not adhere to the copper if using the photo paper copy transfer method. Out of 8 circuit transfer attempts, 6 had to be redone because of incomplete transfer, which rarely happened to me before using other brand copper boards. Also the copper layer on these seem to be thinner than normal.
For an inexpensive copper clad board, not too shabby.Compared to the really high-quality 2oz board from like 20 years ago that I still had laying around, these things are rubbish, but for what I paid, I can’t really complain. The copper foil is pretty thin. I haven’t put what I peeled off in a micrometer yet to check it, but it’s really thin. These boards etch in about half the time my old 2oz board etched in.So if you want a high-quality board, you’re going to need to look elsewhere and be prepared to pay for it.
Don’t waste your time. The copper on these boards is way too thin. As another reviewer said, they etch very quickly, but the pads lift immediately. If you’re going to spend the time to design and etch a circuit, do yourself a favor and buy some quality boards instead.
This copper must be 1⁄2 or even 1⁄4 oz. It’s nearly foil thin. Def something that needs to be in the description!
Multiple boards came with pitting in the copper, so useless from the beginning. The copper is extremely thin, which does etch much faster than normal, but many pads lift right off the board.
I opened the package to the looks and smell of… paper phenolic. It should serve my purposes well, but if you’re looking for proper FR4 boards, this might not be for you.
Great product to etch and make your own circuit boards. I wish I was slightly thinner so I could cut it with scissors a little easier but it’s a good product anyway.
Good quality, good price, shipped almost 2 weeks more quickly than it said on Amazon
Arrived quickly, packed well. Looks like quality copper-clad board for an awesome price.
not great quality, very thin copper
They work for my projects. I used a CNC to mill some of these and I had good results.
Nice pack of good size boards.
