Good quality boards for the price

Appears to be good quality. You should always clean PCB stock before attempting to apply resist, by any method, So be sure to clean off any residue before attempting to apply resist to these boards.I’m going to be testing drilling and milling the board outline on my CNC machine and then applying top and bottom toner transfers for the resist aligning using the drilled holes. We’ll see how that goes..If I need more in the future will order again

A couple bad boards

These boards were priced right but three of the twelve had scratches in them. Scratches so deep that it renders that side of the board useless. They were shipped all together in a small plastic bag. However the gouges couldn’t be the result of shipping based on where they were located. At least the other half of each board is ok so I can use them as single side boards. Defeats the purpose of the double side copper though.

All boards came as advertised. They do have a sort of wax protecting the copper that you’ll need to clean up before trying to etch it. I’m not sure how thick the Cooper layer is but it hasn’t been an issue for me so far on peeling or lifting from the board.

priced right

size and squareness isnt perfect but they work and are priced right. I prep them with steel wool, bath in 5% hcl and distilled water. Green scrubber pad while in hcl. I then rinse with distilled, rise with ipa dry and apply uv resist. using a bath of distilled water helps get resist on with out bubbles

Boards arrived dirty

Item arrived as described, however the boards were really dirty. They were covered in sticky black goo that must be cleaned before a light sanding, or the sandpaper will get gunked up

PCB material is fine. It must been cleaned before etching or you will get spots. Some waxy film coating causes this. Also the boards are NOT all exactly the same size. My batch of 15 varied by .08” in the long axis and .11” in the short axis so if your relying on flipping the board and indexing off the edge to align one side with the other… even board had to be measured.

Sizes were not exactly the same as stated in the product description. The width varied around 70.5mm through 72mm. The length varied from 100.5mm to 101mm.

Great product

Fun with making circuits lead me to use these boards and try etching for myself. I find it fun and so far have had good luck.

its better recomended to use a dremel or a hacksaw

the price corresponds the with the quality the only thing its that they are brittle when you snap them, its better recomended to use a dremel or a hacksaw

An unconventional application

Just the right size for a tesla coil project I have in mind. I needed a high voltage capacitor as part of the resonant circuit and couldn’t find a suitable one online.
