Unit is garbage and company lies

If you want a product that you have to buy extra add-ons for it to even work then buy this. It’s not “plug and go ready” like they claim. I asked in the question section how I connect the red wire with the u adapter that is attached to it. I was told I need to “cut the u adapter off and purchase a fuse adapter”. Why sell it with this u adapter if you expect me to cut it off then? You can’t say something is plug and go ready if I have to make hanged to it for it to work. His is a waste of money. Might as well just buy the units that have the fuse adapter included. Don’t waste your money here. There is also a question in the Q&A area where the company posts a link to a video that shows the install instructions for this unit. At least that’s what they say. It’s not this unit for one. The guy in the video is using a fuse adapter that he bought and cutting the end off his car charger so he can splice the wires with the fuse adapter. I couldn’t find an actual instructional video for this unit anywhere. And I searched for a long time.

Should come in box with Vantrue camera purchase

Got mone today and installed it for my Vantrue N2. It’s perfect. I hardwired directly to battery instead of add a circuit mainly because my fuse boxes in my Lexus are not that easy to reach and being mini low profile, it won’t allow me to snap fuse.cover back on. I wire loom to finish the look and it looks fine. My alarm alerts me if the voltage is low in car so it will be good to test how this battery protection feature works.

With the ability to attach the hardwire to the suction cup mount, you are able to remove the camera without ever messing with wires. Camera will turn on automatically when you start the car. Highly recommended.

I like this kit because no wires are exposed after I bought a mini B extension. I have a truck and the mini B cable from the adapter was to short. Without the extension, the adapter will be exposed.

Drained my car battery had to get it replaced, does not turn off in case of low voltage.

busted from the start

Unfortunately this did not work with my camera. I hooked it up to several different fuses to tap, and nothing. They sent me a replacement very fast, but still, no hardwiring of the camera, which means I can’t use several of the cameras features. Shame, would have been amazing if it worked!!!
