Just what I needed for my iPhone 7 plus with a case on

If you want to use this for a tripod, then you could probably find tripods or mini tripods that cost almost the same as this adapter, and include both the tripod and phone adapter… BUT I don’t think you could find a tripod as good as this one for $10. I have a Ravelli 61in light weight tripod and also an XPACK claw phone holder, and this phone adapter works great with both. The ravelli tripod doesn’t come with a phone adapter, but the XPACK one does, which I could have used with the ravelli, but that one comes with one of those phone holders that uses a spring to get bigger and hold the phone tight.This adapter however, uses a screw to get bigger or smaller so it can hold your phone with a case with no problem. I have an iPhone 7 plus with a clear AmazonBasics case and it holds it very securely.The adapter spins 360 degrees, it can be used portrait and landscape. The other cool thing is that you can remove the part that holds your phone, and it can be screw directly to the tripod with out having to use the “360 degree” part. (I provided photos so you will know what I mean).I really like this adapter, is good quality, it has all the functionality that I need, and not very expensive.If this review helped you please click YES! Tough as nails!

This product is great! Not only does it work with tripods, but you can use it as a standalone mount as well. I use it to mount my phone everywhere that I can in my car (see pictures). It’s large enough to accommodate any sized phone case too. You would think that it is made of cheap plastic, but the plastic is actually very thick and able to withstand drops from 5-6 feet without breaking.I primarily use this with my Manfroto mini tripod specifically made for phones (see picture). I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cell phone bracket mount.

For vacations, I used to use a conventional, lumpy digital camera together with an Ultrapod. The Ultrapod is great because it can be strapped to a post or branch to elevate the perspective, but the lumpy digital camera was sometimes difficult to position next to the post/branch. But with this tripod adapter, your phone can be slid to one side or the other through the bracket, leaving plenty of room for the branch/post. Not only that, but my phone takes better pics than my old camera, and it’s easier to carry.The tilt feature of this tripod adapter is unnecessary if you have a tripod that already has a ball-and-socket swivel on it. So you can just take the clamping piece with you (since it has a threaded hole in it), and leave the base part at home. Perfect, the least amount of stuff to carry with you to get good selfies that aren’t all taken by a 1-meter selfie stick: half of this mount, one Ultrapod, and one smartphone. If your phone takes poor night shots (because of a weak flash), well, I guess you have to decide whether good night shots are important enough for you to schlep a bulky camera along with you; that’s up to you.

This mount is incredibly sturdy and simple. I use it with an Amazon Basics 60in tripod. It fits. My phone sits perfectly in it very secure. It is almost like a Chuck Norris Kung Fu grip combined with a soft touch of Kate Upton’s hand gently gliding across your cheek as she tenderly smiles with an ounce of awe at you massive manly beard. If my Apple iPhone were actually alive, I would trust it’s life to this device.

Good last minute buy

So I bought this like last minute to use when I traveled so I can use it on a mini tripod to take pictures with. I think for the price the quality is okay but it could be better. It is good and stable if you use both pieces of the product they give you. If you only use like the horizontal piece you might need to make sure it is snug on your phone if you are using a gel case. Overall I would recommend it if you are looking for an affordable adapter for your cellphone. And you won’t believe how wide it will go until you see it like in person.

Great for the money

I bought this smartphone clamp tripod adapter for my Son. We both inspected this product very closely and it appears to be of great quality. Basically speaking, this unit does or functions how claimed. It seems to be fairly heavy duty and of good quality. I will probably order one for myself. This unit is also fairly inexpensive which is always a plus. I have no other choice but to give this item a 5 star rating :)

I’ve had a couple of phone mounts like this but they were the spring tension type and inevitably they would break.This one seems to be holding up well so far. I Like the screw design. It’s ease to mount and unmount the phone. Holds securely.You have 3 tripod screw mounting points- 2 on the clamp and one on the L bracket, so there are multiple mounting position options. Good design.

Great product so far and great and fast customer service!

This does exactly what I expected it to do and it does it very well. I mainly wanted to use for my phone to make time lapse videos. It works perfectly for that. The grips on the inside that are the part that touches your phone are very soft but still keeps your phone nice and snug. The tightening knob feels good and study like it won’t break easy or anything like that. Also it was easy to connect to my tiny tripod. I’m only giving it four Stars for now because I haven’t had it long but if my thoughts change and it holds up I will update my review. P.S. VERY quick responding customer service. I had a couple questions and they responded very fast and polity.
