Well made, easily adjustable, very secure once mounted, overall very happy with my purchase.

After looking at other similar products (i.e. Profile Design), I settled on this on for a couple of reasons. It is all alloy, no plastic parts to break off. It accepts a regular bottle cage. It mounts easily and adapts to almost any desired height or angle. It is very secure, once mounted does not move or come loose, and being entirely metal, looks to be very durable. I have had it on my road bike and ridden about 800 miles so far without any issues at all. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Doesn’t fit on beefier carbon rails.

I have the SQlab 612 Race Saddle, and since the rails on it have a slightly thicker diameter, the securing clamps of this cage mount don’t fit. The only way to get it to work is to remove one side of the clamping mechanism. Insofar the fastener is then driving itself directly into the carbon and increases the risk of the rails rupturing.VeloChampion have a design that is on the verge of being perfect. It simply needs a little more space for the clamps to allow for the slightly larger diameter of the carbon rails. FIVE stars if that were the case. Six stars if they had a optional mount that allowed a single, center-mounted cage for shorter rides. :D

Continually lose water bottles from these cages. They do not properly hold any size bottle. They also losen easily and need to be tightened after each ride.

Think before you buy

It does hold the water bottles, but I have yet to find a water bottle to place in the cages that will not fall out when I hit a bump. Works great on perfectly flat surfaces but if you are riding the road and hit a few bumps, then be prepared to lose your water bottles.

Good product. I like long rides and have not had a problem yet. Easy installation, hold the bottles tight and well built. Might be a little heavy if you are a weight fanatic. Would buy again and recommended it. Very good value for the price.

Bought this as an alternative to other, more expensive, behind the seat cage mounts. It was easy to install and has held up on several rides and a few hundred miles.

The angle is a bit difficult to adjust. I have to swing my leg over the saddle, then mount the bottles in the cages so that is a hassle but on a long ride, it is worth it.

Sad to say I already have to purchase a new mounting bracket. Screw and bracket missing ¹⁄₂ thru a 15 mile ride. thankfully no water bottles were in it

Not very happy with these. They loosen quickly and I am often distracted by anticipating them getting loose. Every 30 miles or so they need to be tightened down.
