The wide Band Log Periodic Directional Antenna will collect the cell tower signal and send it through the cable to an amplifier, cell phone or cellular data card. When the cell phone or cellular data card transmits, the signal is transferred to an amplifier or directly to the antenna and broadcast back to the cell tower.

Fantastic download and upload speeds
I live in a rural area, and this antenna provides strong signal, in addition to the Verizon Mifi.
I have the LTE router and it did work ok but the upload was terrible. Normally would get between 0
I live on the edge of service. In fact the coverage map with Verizon shows I don’t have coverage. I have the LTE router and it did work ok but the upload was terrible. Normally would get between 0.03 and 0.2Mb up. Download would be 8Mb or so but was bad because of the slow upload so it didn’t seem like it. I had to reboot it several times a day to get the LTE signal back. Signal strength was -114dB on the best days. With this antenna my signal is now -103dB, SNR is 10, download about 13Mb and upload 8Mb. It did an amazing job. I can’t believe we are getting 8Mb up. Mounting is a challenge. I didn’t order a mounting kit and it doesn’t come with one. So I’ve got it strapped to the top of my chimney on a tent pole using a strap. It’s ghetto but it clearly works. Highly recommend.

I purchased this product to use in remote desert area …
I purchased this product to use in remote desert area in Nevada. The cell signal is weak (maybe one bar) to none most of the time. After hooking it up to my pole which is about 30 feet tall I was getting up to 3 bars of signal. I was using the Novatel router to monitor the signal strength. Unfortunately this device was not activated yet so I could not tell the quality of the connection. After I get some more cable and talk to verizon I might be able to give more information on the quality of the connection. see my review of Novatel/ Verizon 4G LTE Broadband Router for more information.

comments powered by DisqusInstalled today and put on a piece of 10’ PVC pipe. Did a speed test and have 4 times faster speed, but I was starting out with less than 1 GB download. Now I am at 4GB.
