i was very anxious about ordering this product. i was worried it would be cheaply made and my gopro would be ruined. so far, the hinge lock (which broke on my last case– thankfully out of the water) seems secure and no leaking. im happy with it/ the buttons are easy to press and arent stuck. This company is very proactive about their customers satisfaction! They were very helpful and quick to respond.

This Blackout case seems well-built, however not quite as solid feeling as the original clear housing. My Hero 3 + fits perfectly and the flashing red and blue lights are covered and do not shine thru. The finish is matte black, which is perfect as I plan on using this case for hunting. This is a good deal for the price. I LOVE SO MUCH.

I bought this for hunting and to mount in a race car. The item arrived in a few days and it is exactly what I need. I looked at the GoPro flat black version but the price kept me from ordering it. This is almost the same thing and much more reasonably priced. Seller delivered item just as promised.

Great for incognito filming of concerts

Great for incognito filming of concerts. Keeps the jerkface security from seeing your LEDS flashing but then I realized I can turn them off. Still a good case though.

NOT WATERPROOF

Leaked water during first time use at the beach. Do yourself a favor and buy a case from GoPro not this cheap knockoff.
