The picture quality is terrible, out of all of the pictures I took
The picture quality is terrible, out of all of the pictures I took, only one picture was halfway decentafter some trial and error, I used the Macro mode for a selfie and held the camera 8 inches from my face, only then did the camera produce a picture anywhere near cellphone quality. Do not buy this camera, unless it is for a small child.
Do not recommend
Buttons did not work, flimsy plastic, terrible photos. Would not recommend this for anyone.
Not happy
I am really thinking about sending both of these back. The photos look gray scale when looking through the viewing lens. I am going to have the kids download the photos on the computer and see if they are better, but I am not hopeful.

A dud
I had bought this for my grandson’s bday, he wanted to create videos for his home-schooling projects and documenting his interests. I told him I was excited to see the results of his work. He has done it his mother’s cell phone and thought this camera would be great for him. My daughter sent me this email. “You said you wanted results. I don’t think this is what you wanted. It only takes very grainy pics. :( The videos are the same and it doesn’t record sound at all. It seems like it’s more of a kids’ toy camera? The plastic is really light and the buttons have that hard push to it, like it’s meant to feel like it’s being pushed but it’s really not? I don’t know how else to explain it.”
Very cheaply made, do not be fooled by the pictures.
I bought this for my Son and I am extremely disappointed. The pictures are pretty bad but I guess for the price it’s somewhat expected. My real complaint is cheaply made the camera is so. From the websites pictures and specs you would expect that it to be a fairly well built camera like most Vivitar’s, but no this thing is in about the same league as a $35 toy camera. It may look like a real compact camera but when you hold it you know right away that it is just a toy made to look like a compact camera. The buttons feel like they are going to break. Everything is made from this cheap chrome painted plastic and the buttons are difficult to press and have no feedback in them. Arggh what a waste of money, this camera is absolute rubbish quality and for the final Jab they made the menu system so counter intuitive that it just frustrates you to death. At this point I am just hoping that the buttons don’t break or the camera does not just fail on me. BTW this is a digital Zoom Camera so forget any real kind of zooming.

my company bought this for our job. Did not work turns on but screen is all messed up. This is junk do not buy.
Worse camera ever
It uses batteries so fast. A new set only last about 10 min before it peeps and dies. Dont take quality pics

I gave it 3 stars because it does work. This was a gift for MIL that is not the best with this day an age.
