STAND-SK01 is especially useful for flat screens within arm’s reach or in areas of high traffic and is an essential tool in preventing tip-overs causing accidents and injuries. The dual steel cables work with any flat panel TV up to 65”. The kit attaches your TV directly to wood stud walls, concrete walls, brick walls, or the entertainment centers underneath the TV, and the cables are adjustable using the tensioning clamp. All of this is done with the provided mounting kit which includes all necessary hardware and screws required for assembly.

TV won’t move,,,period.

I bought this to protect the new 55” lcd tv I bought the family. We have a brood of cats that love to knock things over, so this was a no brainer of an investment. This product is simple yet perfect and completely unnoticable. It was easy to install in spite of the lack of detailed installation inctuctions. The tv positively will not tips forward now. My tv has undermounted legs instead of a monitor like center pedestal so that adds to the stability as well. So if you pair this kit with a leg mounting kit you’ll have the perfect table top lve set. up.

Nice, simple design

Nice, simple design. Easy enough to install on my wooden media stand using a power screwdriver. The cable seems VERY thin, but it’s to keep something from tipping and is not holding up the TV so I suppose it’s enough, and the cable is coated to keep it from marring your TV or stand. Main complaint is that the included hex key is really cheap - rounded off while tightening the little grub screws that anchor the cable.

Good kit, but weak screws

I just moved a large TV to a bedroom, and put it on a dresser. This TV is a little older, and it’s fairly front heavy with an enormous glass bezel around the screen.I got this kit to secure the tv to the dresser, so I know it won’t tip. For that, it works well. There was plenty of cable for my 46 inch TV. I imagine the cable could probably handle 60 inches of TV.The one problem I had was when I was attaching the anchors to the dresser, one of the screws sheeted off. So I had to reposition and try again. For something that needs to hold up weight, strong screws is a must.But still, with the new, better, screws in place, this gives a nice secure fit for the TV.

For when you need to batten down the hatches….

Good news, bad news. Turns out I didn’t have to use it with the new entertainment center and the optional attachable tilt/swivel mount. Good news, I sold it to my neighbor who happened to be looking for something to address the problem that this cable system resolves. Works fine for him. Everybody’s happy, and, out of pocket was very reasonable for all concerned. Plus, he said the install was far from being as complicated as was anticipated.

Great kit! Highly recommended

Super easy to install. Took me about 10 minutes. Includes hardware for just about any mounting combination you can imagine (so you’re likely to end up with spare parts). Sturdy hardware too. I feel a lot safer when the grandkids are around. The TV isn’t going anywhere now.

Simple and Extremely Effective

This works exactly as advertised. The coated steel cable is easy to work with and the simple design is extremely flexible. After installing one for my mother’s set (to keep the grandkids from knocking the TV over), I bought one for the pedestal-mounted set in my den. That set isn’t going anywhere.

Very easy to install

Does what it says, TV is very secure in my kid’s room. TV is on the dresser and I didn’t want to risk it falling over in case the kids were roughhousing. This does the trick.
