Lovely to look at and listen to

I needed a fan that I could use at night while I’m sleeping. I’ve had big retro style fans, medium utilitarian looking ones from Home Depot and everything in between. I bought this fan because I loved the way it looked and it was small.The first impression of the fan is just how beautiful and well-made it is. That might seem weird but I love the mid-century, Atomic age design look and this has that in spades. It is all metal and obviously well made; not cheap at all. Green happens to be my favorite color so that just adds to it. I also appreciated how small it was. My main purpose for a fan in my bedroom is the white noise before and while I’m sleeping. I’ve tried white noise machines, phone apps and all the rest of it but nothing puts me to sleep like the white noise of a regular fan. Obviously, that means finding a fan with a reasonable decibel level and not having a fan that sounds like a Boeing 747 is landing on the bed. This VFan has two speed levels that are operated with an easy to use toggle switch on the top. The slower speed is the perfect noise level to fall asleep to and I’ll never have another fan ever.The fan is small (5” grill and 7” overall across) so this isn’t going to cool off your entire room. I have this on a table about 4 feet from where I sleep and I can still feel the air moving but it’s not going to cool me off. When I stand right next to it, it does put out a good amount of air. If you had this on your desk or right next to your bed, you would feel the air. However, if you’re looking to cool off because you don’t have an air conditioner, this isn’t going to do it. I purposely bought the small size for the noise level, the small amount of circulation it would provide and the fact that it looks just right on the table without overwhelming the room.I found the fan worth the price because it’s probably going to last a long time, I love the aesthetic and the noise level is perfect to send me to sleepy land.

I have been a Vornado Fan fan for many, many years. I have one in every single room in the house. Obviously, the large rooms have full size fans. It is unreal that they can push air 80-90 feet. I purchased this new fan for one of the bathrooms. The AC vents in the two smaller bathrooms are very small. Once the door is closed, it tends to get warm. I had a midsize fan in place but it was just too big. I really wanted something smaller.This fan is a perfect fit. It takes up very little room and still provides excellent air movement in a small room.ATTENTION ALLThis is a small fan. It will not cool down a large family room. I would consider this a personal fan. It works in my setting. I can see it working at an office desk, crafting area, anywhere you just need more air movement. Please do not purchase this item and place it in a giant room and then complain about what a horrible fan it is.Know what you are purchasing.

Pretty, compact and powerful

I could not be happier with the size and power of this little fan! The beige color is perfect for just about any decor. It’s truly quite and that surprised me. It’s also pretty to look at another big plus!

Perfect for my desk! Love the color! It has two speeds, both fairly quiet. Perfect for getting the air moving around my desk which is in a dead corner of my apartment.
