That feels so much better

I got this fan for work. I love it, and so does everyone I work with. I work in a garden center, so I put it up at one of the front registers, and whenever co-workers come in from the heat, they like to spend a little quality time with the fan. It’s really quiet, and makes working in that environment a lot more tolerable. When I end up at that register, the fan is probably 2-3 feet away, so it doesn’t feel as strong as if I was sitting right next to it at a desk, but it definitely makes it feel a few degrees cooler up there.It’s also cool that the nylon blades can’t injure anyone. Definitely a good thing, since EVERYONE sticks their fingers in it once they realize that.

Great Fan and Cats LOVE It!

I read so many good yet BAD reviews I was honestly afraid to try this. Turns out this has quickly become my favorite of all the fans I have. The reason is simple. Even on a hot day of 90 degrees, if I place this next to me at my recliner, I can usually skip turning on my large Vornado fans entirely. And this is on the LOW setting. The fan at that speed is virtually silent and moves all the air I want or need. On high, this little fan move far more air than I expected given some reviews. The fact it also has a mail back 3 year warranty, I feel I got a LOT for the money. If you need a fan for personal use and in a small space I recommend this 100%. Given I use it in a large living room, next to my chair and have such amazing results, I actually recommend this for anywhere as long as it is within 4 feet of you or so. Remember it will NOT cool any room or large space but will cool you if close by. My cats (Lucy & Ethel give it 10 stars each. Best desk fan ever!

This fan is quiet, no one knows I even have it unless they see my hair blowing in the breeze. I love that you can adjust the head up and down and that the fan “blades” are material and safe to the touch. Highly recommend.

Perfect desk fan and attractive design

This is the second one of these I’ve owned and they are just fantastic. Obviously they’re not going to move a lot of air, but on a desk to get a nice breeze, this is absolutely genius. And it looks great to boot. My problem with the older design was some vibration occasionally moved the fan, and the newer models solve this with some nubs on the base. A nice improvement.As for the quality, the motor runs smoothly and is quieter than you’d expect. Most of the noise comes from the “blades.“My only complaint is that I can’t go a day without someone coming by and sticking their hand it while it’s running just to prove to themselves that it does not hurt. I mean, what if it did? Why do people do this? The smart ones ask me to do it first, which is equally as annoying but I give them props for being less foolish so I invariably indulge them.The red has a little more burgundy to it than the images online - so I’d get another black one given the choice if you were looking for a bright red.

Excellent little fan!

I’ve had two of these for several years now, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. One sits on my desk at work, and one sits on the bedside table. It gives me a nice, quiet, steady stream of air when I need it. It packs very small to fit into a suitcase. It’s not a big fan, so don’t expect big fan performance. What makes it excellent is size, style, portability, and reliability. Oh, and little kids love to fiddle with the fan “blades.” once they’re convinced it won’t hurt! And for goodness sake, get it in a nice color. Black is SO boring.

I love this small fan.. It is stronger than ones its size.. The added bonus is that there is no chance for it to hurt anyone given the cloth like wings, and won’t collect dust. Sleek design, and quite.. I am buying another one, Big thanks to the reviewers who pointed out it’s efficiency over similar sized and somewhat bigger ones. I got it to replace the ugly metal one that was collecting dirt hard to clean on my vanity. It was hardly moving the air as well. But this one, awesome! I also like the fact that I can fold it and tuck it if I need more space.

Good fan, but annoyances exist

Very nice powerful breeze. Almost got a second one but motor got too warm after a while (should be okay for the desk during a normal work day). But what made me get the Vornado FIT Personal Air Circulator instead was having to carefully reach behind the Zippi to turn it off and on or to take increase or decease the power. The blades won’t cut you, but when they hit your fingers it’s VERY loud and startling. Unless you get up and walk completely around the desk, there was a better that 75% chance my fingers would get in the way of the blades.

Near silent, and plenty of air.

I bought this little fan 8 months ago, and I’m completely happy with it. I work in an office that is waaaay too quiet. In addition, and I use a hearing aid as well. Combined, this means a noisy fan just won’t do. This fan puts out plenty of air, and it almost inaudible on the low setting. The high setting is quiet enough that my cube neighbors don’t hear anything, and it’s low enough it doesn’t get picked up by my hearing aid.I thought the lack of a cowling was strange, and I almost didn’t buy it because of that. The fabric blades make it a complete non-issue, and I think it helps the air flow.I can definitely recommend this fan.

DO NOT BUY. PRODUCT NOT THAT GOOD.

Returning it.. both fans I ordered died after 5 mins of using it.. will never buy their products. Now I have to return the item with my own money just to get a refund…

I love Vornado products

I love Vornado products! I’ve used their heaters for years. And I own two Zippy mini fans. In turquoise. They are beautiful, quiet, and powerful.

Great idea but impractical in its usability

Idea is great, but practical use is limited because the fan is exposed. It doens’t hurt, but it was very inconvenient for a personal fan.

Terrible Product

Worst Amazon buy ever. would not recommend to anyone. After 45 days the fan started smoking and almost caused a fire. Vornado should be ashamed of making a product this cheap.
