A must for GoPro HERO Session

This thing is awesome. Seriously. You don’t even need a selfie stick when you have a battery pack and selfie stick in one. I have a GoPro Hero 5 Session, and I’m always worried about the battery capacity for such a small camera. I don’t worry anymore because this charger can charge the GoPro about five times. The only thing I would recommend is to buy a short USB cable that matches your GoPro camera; then you will be able to charge and record at the same time no problem. The grip isn’t too big for my hands, but people with smaller hands may feel uncomfortable holding it. This unit doesn’t turn on automatically, you have to push the button on the side, which turns on the small LEDs on the side, then you will see the charging LED on your camera light up. You do have to be careful that this unit does not get too wet because the flap leave the unit vulnerable to water when you are using the USB port. Anyway, this thing is great and a must-have for GoPro owners who are worried about their battery life. I’ve even used this thing to charge my phone! Highly recommend!

Great battery. Very solid handle

Great battery. Very solid handle. Comes with micro USB to charge “Clutch” but you need a mini usb to plug into a gopro. Didn’t bother me, because I use it for my galaxy tab pro, Ipad, phone and gopro. You just need to have the propper cable for the device you are using. I get a full day of start and stop video recording using this.Gopro users: This is not part of the review, but you will need to buy a gopro holder that has access to the charging port(See picture of product for example), or cut a hole in the side of one of the clear cases that you already have. Many videos on how to do this on youtube.

A Must Have from a Great Company

This is a great gadget/necessity for your GoPro. Not only for a GoPro, but with the included adapter you can use it with your smartphone as well. My order was missing one of the added components,but, Blue Nook was very quick to provide it. They CALLED ME to follow up with my purchase to confirm I satisfied with my purchase. Pretty Cool

Pretty cool. Nicely constructed solid build. Not as heavy as I thought it would be. Nice addition to my GoPro arsenal. I can record till the 64gb card is full. Would like to see an extension version of this. For the money this is a good buy.

Quality battery grip that is well built.

Great battery backup for gopro camera, used while atv riding. Battery lasts for hours for most action cameras. Good construction and threaded base is great for mini tripod.

Outstanding power solution and excellent value. Just used this for a month on location filming in Indonesia. Nice never running out of battery on a large card. Not for wet locations.

Great for when you are going to be away from places to charge up your Gopro!

I just purchased this for an upcoming trip to India expecting that I will be a long time between charges. In testing it out it has performed great giving me about 5 hours of filming time at 1080p with my GoPro 4 silver. The grip is comfortable and makes it easy to hold onto even with sweaty hands on a hot day. I also like that it helps balance and steady the camera with out a lot of added weight and bulk. Knowing I was going to be needing an extended battery life, I had even looked into building my own but for the price and quality I couldn’t beat it.

Love it. very handy and works as advertised. been with me to Africa, Europe and more. Though don’t buy it as an stabilizer as it will disappoint you

Amazing for any action camera!!!

This is an amazing product for any action camera!!! The grip feels very premium and durable it has a tripod screw on the bottom, the back up battery built in it is pretty good.
