Works just fine

I installed this in a golf cart to monitor the battery voltage. It worked well at first and then began to display voltages approximately 4 volts less than it should. This went on for a couple of weeks and then it died altogether.Edit: The meter has returned to life after taking a few days off but it is still reading a few volts low. Perhaps there is a poor connection somewhere and it’s not the meter that is at fault. Further investigation is needed.Another edit: I finally traced down the fault and it was with the wiring, not the meter so I’m changing the rating I gave it.

Cool Little Voltmeter

I use this as a “gas gauge” on a lithium ion bike battery pack for an E-Bike. Since it runs off the same voltage it is measuring it’s a simple 2 wire hookup. I added a little toggle switch in the circuit so it doesn’t have to display ²⁴⁄₇, just when I want to see what’s left in the tank - so to speak.

Great for golf carts!

I added this to our golf cart about 1 year ago. It’s really nice to see the battery charge level at a quick glance. We have 4 x 12.6 volt batteries = 50.4 volts when fully charged. When the batteries get below 49 volts it’s time to charge them again :-)

Works great on the 48V battery stack on the golf cart.

Couldn’t be any simpler to hook up since it didn’t need a separate power supply. I was also surprised to seethe accuracy matched my hand held Multi-meter (to a tenth of volt). I would have given it 5 stars if it had mountingtabs or a pre-cut flange to go with it.

Worked for 3 hours, it’s already dead!

I am rating this product one star for now, but we will see if the seller makes it right. To start, I installed this on my 48V golf cart, and it worked for all of 3 hours. In terms of install, if you are able to make your own template and are handy with a dremel, it was fairly easy. The wiring could not be easier, since one wire goes to the positive pole on your battery and the other to the negative. That is the only reason for the 1 star rating. If they can send me a unit that works for longer than 3 hours, I will come back and re-rate.Edit: I contacted the seller about my issue above, and they were quick to reply and mailed me out a new unit. I have installed the new unit, and it has been a week so far and it continues to work as it should. I am therefore going to rate this 4 stars for now.

Great Buy

Worked great from the first time I turned it on. It’s way better than the old one that had bars to tell charge. This one reads out in real time and changes as you change your accelerator pressure.

Get this over bar graph type meters

Works as of installation. Hopes it lasts. The bar graph volt meter I got before only lasted about 4 months. I love the blue illumination and the voltage seems very accurate for my 36 volt club Cart. While charginging it goes up to 40 volts then goes down to 38 volts at full charge. Has had it a couple of months. Seems very accurate and makes me happy to finally know the actual voltage. The blue color is very nice but yes in the sun you can’t read it. But how often is the gauge in the sun?

It worked good for me. Just what I needed.

This was very simple to install. I put it on a 36v golf cart. Voltage gives a pretty decent indication of battery charge if they are in good condition. I now know when it is down to 50% so I can charge it properly (which is at 50%). It is pretty bright at night. It’s like having a night light outside my RV.

Fire hazard don’t order

Almost burnt house down. Caught as fire was going. No directions and followed the directions on here. Positive to battery 1 positive a s negative to battery 6 negative.

Nice meter

Got this meter to put on my golf cart. I wanted to be able to view the constant voltage on the batteries. The meter works and looks great.

Works as expected and seem accurate. Would be nice if it has another digit right of the decimal point. I’ll be using it as a second meter on a 36V golf cart.
