Kind of a silly impulse buy but in actuality this thing works quite well. Easy to focus and has good magnification in a very portable system. Beats my old 8x hiking binocs by a mile.

Great Scope, really cannot complain

This is a good telescope, but focus is difficult, eye alignment is critical, you must be steady, it needs lots of light to get a good view, its view is very narrow. I will not complain, it does what it says it does, but the 16 X 40 Camping scope that I also bought, is so much more fun. I gave this Waterproof Monocular scope to my grandson, but in showing him the ground hog out in the field, I learned that you can twist the last segment to focus, this does make focusing much easier. If the last segment does not come out as much as the other segments, is because the focus got turned in & turning it to the right makes it come out.

Good telescope but it is not brass tube

I have to agree with another reviewer. Though functional this telescope is not made from brass. Calling this “Brass Monocular Telescope” in header may give some people impression that real brass is used.(It is brass color paint)But for the price, I am pretty happy how well this telescope worked. Simply extending the tube all the way may not bring it to focus. You also have to twist turn the eyepiece in conjunction to really bring object to focus.It is priced low enough that you may won’t cry if you accidentally lose or break it.
