Used this in combination with a Wilson Mobile 4G booster on a month-long, 8,600-mile cross country van trip last summer. Never had a problem with it blowing off the roof (Ford van) even as 80 mph speeds out west. I can’t say if it’s any better than the smaller antenna that comes with the Wilson booster, but intuitively I feel it has to be, as it’s got much more height to it. Has plenty of cable length to allow you mount it in a convenient location.
I attached this antenna directly (had to make sure it was SMA male) to my cellular network extender Samsung Network Extender SCS-2U01 Verizon Wireless SCS2U01 Signal Booster and ran the cable out the window and attached the antenna to my RV roof. I now see more bars further away but the jury is out on whether our devices are getting better signal- sometimes phone calls lose signal, or sound terrible, and we end up having to stand closer to the extender anyway.
This is mounted on the roof of a full sized Transit van near the front. Get the full force of the headwinds. Cruising @ 80 in a 20 mph headwind equates to staying in place with no apparent movement @ 100 mph. This is really a nice item.
Arrived ahead of schedule. Lightweight and easy to install along door trim and centered to the rear of my F-250 cab roof. Yes, it had enough cable to get to my Wilson Sleek booster mounted on the dash. Good strong magnet to keep it in place while traveling, yet should be able to pull it lose without too much fuss or hassle for the carwash or the occasional public garage. This should make it a lot less likely in drop calls in weak areas, but I’ll update that statement later……if needed.
Easy install. Coverage does drop when the T-Mobile shows I should have 4g, and somewhat in between towers
needed it to help send video to house from work building while using machines
It didn’t boost the signal of my Sleek 4G anymore than the included antenna.
Used this antenna for a small industrial cellular modem device. Worked very well - and for about 15% of the cost of a similar one from the cell modem manufacturer. I will definitely be buying this next time.
I purchased the WeBoost mobile system for my RV but I also use it in my car. I purchased the WeBoost magnet mount antenna for this application. So far it has performed well.
Definitely boosts reception. l
Antenna is nice, i wish the wire was a little heavier gauge.
My antenna was broken when recieved!!!!
Excellent product
Seems to increase booster effectiveness
Still needed to buy adapters
Did not make a difference returned for refund
Good signal boost
comments powered by DisqusGood improvement over the smaller antenna. I live in an area that is hit or miss with cell reception.
