Great for surface run cables

Works great really helps make the new wall-mount flat screen look great, even without painting blends in pretty good on my light colored wall, don’t even really notice it which is really what you want. Very good option for through the wall anyway, and easier if you need to change things around as well.One thing that would be a bit of an improvement is if they had holes down the center so you could wall screw right into the stud where you bolted your set into so it is perfectly centered, easily fixed with a small drill bit though so no big deal.I just have a few dry wall screws holding the channel full of wires and it is very secure, the material is very tough, and have no need for the supplied anchors at this time anyway, and yes there is A LOT of room for all your cables.

A decent product, but probably oversized for most people’s needs.

The cord cover does what it is supposed to do. That being said, it is very wide, you could likely fit 10 plus wires in side of the cover. If you only have a couple off wires, I would look for another product. It is deep enough to hold cable wires, power cords, HDMI wires and so on. The wall anchors that come with the cord cover are absolutely huge, and I have no idea why you would need such a large diameter plastic anchor. Since they aren’t holding much up, I decided not to use them.All things considered, this is a good product, but it may not be the best option for someone who is just running a couple of wires. Additionally, if you consider later repair, it may make sense to buy small plastic anchors separately, or just not use them.

Nice, easy way to hide cords between mounted TV and cabinet.

The cord cover is 4 feet long. I only needed about 2 ¹⁄₂ feet to cover the cords between my mounted TV and the cabinet underneath it that holds all the other entertainment components. It was easy to cut down to the size I needed. Easy to install with the included screws and anchors. I used 2 coats of paint to match the wall and it blends in nicely. I am using it to cover 1 HDMI cable, 1 power cable, 1 coaxial cable, and a cable for the Wii system.

Wish it had come with Command Strips

My wife and I got this because we have a young one who just started to walk and now he can’t pull on the cords around our television. It works well.I would have given this five stars if it came with a command strip to secure to the wall. We are renting and cannot put many holes in the wall - in order to secure this to the wall in the place we live in, we ended up purchasing command strips. Because this wasn’t designed for the command strips, they didn’t secure all that well.Still overall, very pleased.

Very cool product for those that don’t want to fish their flat screen TV cords and wires through a wall (meaning you’ll have to cut into the wall to do just that). This product installs easily with a few tools, and can be painted with your favorite wall color paint. I keep extra paint around for each room, ensuring that the painted wire cover matches the surrounding wall color paint perfectly.Watch out for hidden electrical in your walls. A Zircon Multi Scanner i520 Center-Finding Stud Finder with Metal and AC Electrical Scanning is what I use to find that electrical service inside the wall. Also purchased from Amazon (free promo to Amazon from me).

Works like a charm at hiding cords

Pros: 1) Great price with easy installation; 2) I painted it to match my wall, and it looks great; 3) it does exactly as advertised.Cons: 1) I had to cut down the cover because some of the power cords to my devices (digital antenna, smart Blu-Ray player) were not long enough to be held down to the top of the baseboards (at the bottom of the wall). By cutting six inches off the bottom of the cover, I was able to keep the two devices in place.Summary: Make sure the power cords to the devices connected to your TV are long enough to prevent having to place them elsewhere or else you will have to cut the cover down to provide some slack to the cords.

Hides Wires Nicely

I used two of these side by side horizontally to hide wires going to my speakers and TV from the a/v tower. It tucked up nicely under a big bay window moulding where I have my TV.Easy to mount, but a pain in the butt to route the wires and put the covers back on. I probably did stuff more wires than the average person would, though. The horizontal mount didn’t help much, either. But it works!Cheap, simple solution to hiding wires. I left it white since it matched the moulding close enough.

What cord covers?

These are the best things ever. Once we got them figured out, my husband painted them the same color as our wall and they blend in beautifully. We actually cut them to cover below and above the self we have to hold our satellite receiver and it was just the right length. Highly recommend these for those who are a little crazy like me and cant stand to see wires or anything out of place.
