i purchased this for me Epson EX9200 Pro Wireless projector and it fits perfect. I obviously had to pull some of the unneeded foam inserts out for the projector itself, the power cable, and the remote.
Just received this Hard Case for out Epson 2045 and had to do some serious customization to it. I found that it wouldn’t fit perfectly until you cut and removed the foam on the bottom of the case. There are three pieces of foam the bottom is approx 1in thick then the middle is about 3 to 4inches the one on the top of the case with all the dimples is glued to the top of the case. So, what I ended up doing is cutting out the bottom part of the first layer to match the middle layer so the top layer didn’t put to much pressure on the top of the projector and mess up the controls. I also trimmed the dimples on the top layer to give the back of the projector more room and so they again wouldn’t mess up the controls. So in summary this case WORKS, I wish it was about 1 1⁄2 to 2inches deeper, removing foam (protection) from the bottom of the case isn’t idle but with the soft feet on the projector I hope will help protect it. I don’t plan on throwing the case off a building or at a wall so I’m sure it will work. I’m keeping the foam I’ve removed to see if I can use it to help protect the bottom of the projector a little more.If you buy this case then expect to customize it, take your time and just don’t hack away at it.Jason
Bought this for an Epson EX9200 like the title says. It fits the projector perfectly. However, that’s all that you will be fitting in there. The picture must be for a different model, because once i got the projector in the case, I couldn’t fit the remote or even the power cable in the box. There’s only about 1⁄2” to spare on all 4 sides. Other than that, it is a great case.
It’s not a pelican case but it works good. I don’t think it would stand up to heavy abuse it’s thinner plastic but it’s well padded on the inside and holds my projector good. Again I wouldn’t drop this from an airplane or take it on tour, but for anything else it’s good. If your not going to heavily abuse the case it will be fine and work great to protect your projector.
High quality case and very customizable for the size of your equipment. The inside foam is perforated in a grid so it’s easy to make different compartments. Light for as sturdy and protective as it is.
This case is tough and functional. The squares can be removed easily enough, and my only compliant would be that the rigidity is lacking - i.e. sometimes it won’t close without aligning the sides, simply due to pressure being exerted against the foam which in turn pushes the plastic sides out. While I could remove more foam, the instructions tell you to ensure you have a ‘snug’ fit for your items and I’m worried removing another row of foam might not offer enough protection. All this said, it’s a very minor complain to a very tough and protective case for my projector.
It took a little bit to figure out a design that would hold everything in place but when I did, like a glove! Love this case and would highly recommend it to anyone with a projector. The problem is that it has all these removable rectangular Styrofoam and if you pull them to fast they rip. Take your time, plan the design first and make it nice and snug. You can always take more out if you need to, but it won’t sit right if you try to add, they are all connected to make it a tight fit.
This case is perfect. The foam was easy to remove, the case fit the projector and left enough room for cables as well. The case is nice and sturdy outside, the foam a good medium firmness inside, and it’s super easy to customize. I love the big fasteners, they click closed like a good briefcase, and the case has withstood hundreds of trips with my other gear. I will absolutely be purchasing more of these!
Perfect for what i need, it fits and is impressive the way it does all it is suppose to do.
Works perfectly. Lightweight and durable. This case was bought to ship a projector to and from job sites. Has done the job perfectly.
Nice case, good price.
Great case. Projector fits perfectly.
Perfect fit.
This case is absolutely amazing. Ignore the reviews that claim it’s not rigid enough. This case is very solid if you don’t plan on parking your car on it.
Just as advertised. Looks good and easy to set up for my projector.
This was another product I put to work as soon as it arrived. I needed it to be just a little bigger to accomodate all the cords and remote I store in it.
Probably one of the best cases to protect your projector, just remove the foam pieces on the bottom for your device and cables.
