The Worth weighted training softball (8.5 oz) is an exceptional Worth product. The WEIGHTSB training aid can help both beginner to professional athletes Excell on the field.
I have chronic tendonitis(tennis elbow) from throwing and wanted something good for warming up my arm before a game. I am primarily a 3rd baseman so lots of burst throws. The ball is just enough in weight above a normal weighted ASA ball that after 10 or so throws with this ball you can 100% notice the lightness of a regular ball. I made 9 throws from 3rd base last night, and for the first time in years had no pain in my arm after the game. Totally worth it!
Good quality, high seams, nice feel. A smidge lighter than advertised (8.35 ounces vs. 8.5).Smart design with the two-tone coloring. It helps to distinguish quickly versus the normal weight balls, and as a bonus helps to track spin.
Great warm up ball for me to throw around with a teammate as we get loose. It’s not as heavy as some other weighted warm up balls I’ve played with in the past, but I like that because you can still throw this one pretty fast and hard.
This is a very durable weighted ball. My daughter has used it all softball season practicing so it’s seen a lot of falls into concrete and rocks and it has held up very well. If you are looking for a good quality weighted ball this is one of the best.
Perfect weighted ball, and has helped my accuracy from SS by quite a bit.
great
Not heavy enough. My daughter is 12 and neither her or I can feel a large difference between this and a traditional ball. We had borrowed a ball from a friend that was much heavier and we were hoping to duplicate that with this ball. We went and bought a heavier ball, this is ok for a warm up before a game but wasn’t quite what we needed.
Works well.
Made a big difference in my daughters pitching!
A+
Ball is made good, but it is slippery. Have to use some sand paper to rough up the grip area for kids to hold them.
The ball is slippery, especially the dark blue panel. Would prefer if the ball did not have the two-tone cover.
Great as a medium-heavy pitching training aid.
Ball seems very well-constructed with nice raised seams. Has nice weight to it I used it with my daughter who pitches 12u travel for New Lenox lightning and it is a good ball 4…
