Landing pad protects from grass, sand and dirt!
Works great for setting a precise landing position for my Mavic Pro. Lets you launch from taller grass and protects motors from sand and dirt, I use this every time I launch unless I’m hand-launching/landing.

Not sure how I ordered 2 of the landing pads, but my friends wanted one, so, it didn’t last long. Awesome landing and takeoff pad for the Mavic since this drone has pretty short legs for grass takeoffs! I probably won’t use the night time landing option for a while, but it’s a nice touch. Make sure you hang on to the rim when you open it as it has a very strong spring inside and can open quite quickly.
