This is a great product! It charges my 18650’s and my old cell phone 3.6⁄3.7v cells. I made an 18650 charger out of one. Built one into a chordless trimmer to replace it’s original ni-mh battery pack and charge circuit with old cell phone battery. Now the trimmer has more power and stays charged much longer. Works with protected and unprotected li-ion cells.
Used these to make my own ecig battery charger along with a plastic holder I got off amazon. So far all 4 I’m using are still working great and its been about a year or so.Little tip, you can solder the + and _ along the USB port together on the two modules, so you have 2 charging modules for 2 batteries with the charge control / protection from one USB connection.
I had a bunch of small lipo batteries recovered from some old gadgets. These devices are perfect to hook up single cells to and be able to reuse them in other projects. Takes care of over charging/discharging, has a light to show the status, and micor usb chargers are pretty common to find and use with this.
Great little charging modules for 4.2 v lithium ion batteries. very easy to use and they come with battery under voltage protection. They also have sepertae ports for the battery and load which is exactly what I needed.
I bought one of these to use with my raspberry pi, along with a 3.7V 1200Mah battery. It was easy to wire up and the low profile made it perfect for the small project I was working on. While charging, I noticed neither the charger nor the battery seemed to get hot. This board doesn’t provide any voltage boosting, but for the price you really can’t beat it. The ones I got had a red LED that would stay on while charging, and a blue LED that came on once it was fully charged. Very happy with what I got.
Surprise surprise surprise this little bugger really works but you have to have patience and a little bit of soldering expertise have a basic knowledge of electronics Or Watch YouTube to detail.. it’s worth it!!
UPDATE. Seller was very friendly and helpful. Sent 2 working units fast.Got the units in a tidy little strip. 2 of the 5 in the set DOA.Now a complete set.
Good little chargers. Note, these don’t have boost converters built in, STRICTLY a battery charger.

USB jacks are not always square on these units, but they function as intended and are pretty reliable.
These things are awesome I’m using it to charge a LiPO battery with a 5V solar cell.

I bought those to charge 18650 Lipo. When charging, the unit gets so hot that you can’t touch it.
Bought these before. Solid little performers for my needs. Yes I will be buying again as they get used up.
