Problem: The Advanced Combat Helmet Adjustable SkydexTM Pad System is designed to let sweat run down your forehead and right into your eyes! The pads tend to cause hot spots. Solution: Our easy-to-install Xtreme-ComfortTM padded browband. No helmet alteration required, just adjust the pads, install, and you’re good to go with more comfort than you imagined. Keeps sweat out of the eyes, cools and controls the cause of odor and discomfort. Relieves some of the “pressure point” sensitivity. Your next best friend on duty and in combat. How Does XTREME-COMFORTTM Work? A silky smooth DuPont Coolmax® Dacron® polyester band lining pulls sweat away from the forehead, through the fabric, and into the unique antimicrobial MicrobisoftTM hydrophilic foam core. MicrobisoftTM is a “breathable” 3⁄8” thick medical grade foam with embedded polymer that features high moisture vapor transmission and absorption. The collected moisture is dissipated by evaporation that provides additional cooling. Controlled release Silver-ion technology provides anti-bacterial and anti-fungal protection to reduce odors and skin irritation. Combined with the ThermoTuxTM Cool-AidTM ACH Helmet Insert, you have a head comfort package that surpasses any other design available.

Much better than GI pads
If you have to wear NODS with your ACH, then the Browband does a great job of balancing the load on the front of your bucket.I’ve noticed the reduction in sweat from my forehead rolling down my face, and the design does a great job of padding the dead space the regular issue pads leave open.
Great product!
I just added the Xtreme Comfort Browband to my new ACH helmet. Fantastic addition!One thing to watch for though. It does make the helmet quite a bit tighter. You’ll need to do some careful arranging of the pads.
Comfortable on the head
Comfortable on the head. is a bit thick so i had to re organize my other padding for a proper fit. true test of the sweat band will be in following weeks, and if need be i will update this with how well it worked, but for now i think it is going to work very well.Update: continues to work well at keeping sweat off face.

Purchased as part of an upgrade to a PASGT. Only reason it gets 4 stars is the lack of thickness option. Could’ve used 1⁄4” thinner.
I love these things
I love these things. I’ve had two, so far. They’re softer and more comfortable than the regular pads, and the helmet feels more secure on my head. They do help to reduce sweat in your eyes.

NICE. I have a football shaped head (imagine Stewie Griffin’s head sideways) and helmets tend to CRUSH my forehead. With this product, problem solved.
Hellmet padding
I am in the 501st legion and I have a TIE fighter bucket. This keeps a nice snug fit and keeps the bucket from floating around my head. A little E600 on the Velcro coins keeps them from falling off
YES SIR
If you have to wear one of these helmets for any length of time you will know the importance of comfort along with being ale to see when running and being in a prone position. I would defiantly recommend. I have bought another set already as a back up just in case. Been on my gear for over a year and have not had one problem with it. For sure 5 stars!

Absolute dopeness. My ach is no longer annoying. Mine is acu colored btw. This band is definitely worth it if you wear your helmet alot.
Worked for me…
Ideal brow pad. Color was black and gray, but reversed from mil spec pad set. Needed to move pads around and completely remove two small side pads, but helped with NODS.

I used this for my Afghan deployment. This pad is so comfortable and is super moisture wicking. Helped keep my head dry and cool during the hot summer patrols.
