Decent backpack for your Typhoon H

First off, the Typhoon H480 is the same as the Typhoon H - they used a different product name in Asia, but it’s the exact same drone. Secondly, as the description indicates, there’s no foam in this pack - you use the foam that came in the original product box, which fits snugly and securely in side the pack. Finally, while they quote over a month for delivery, I had mine in less than two weeks (and a week of that was with the USPS).More to the point, how good is it? It’s pretty good. It seems to be put together quite well, the foam insert does fit extremely well, and you can use it as a backpack or as a standard carrying case, much nicer than lugging your drone around in the original product box. The back of the pack has some padding, but not enough; if you plan to carry it more than a mile or so, you’ll want to add additional padding to the back. And there’s no ventilation on the back, so you will get sweaty. A waist strap would have been a nice addition as well. Combined weight of the pack, foam, drone and stuff you need to fly (controller, Wizard, propeller, spare battery) is about 12 pounds, perfectly manageable.Come with a mesh pocket on one side, a zipped pocket on the other side, and a zipped pocket on the front; not a lot of room for extra stuff, but some.In short, it’s a perfectly decent pack for carrying around your Typhoon H. Given that Yuneec has discontinued the hardshell case for the Typhoon H, and wants about $100 for their not-yet-available soft case backpack, this is a good, affordable option.

Way better than expected

Pleasantly surprised by this bag/pack. Padding top and bottom is better than expected and has three handy external pockets for extra stuff. Let’s be clear: this isn’t a pack you trek through Patagonia with. It has basic backpack straps that were comfortable enough for me on my motorcycle on a long trip, and they have simple pull-down tighteners like your backpack from third grade. Simple, effective. But no cross-body strap, not that you couldn’t add one on easily enough. Like others posted, the Typhoon H box innards slip right in no problem. Zippers seem very sturdy, stitching seems up to snuff, quality over all is markedly better than I expected. External pockets can hold a water bottle, spare battery, snax, documentation or even a small laptop with no problem. The main big external pocket zips closed. And no branding on it, a big plus IMO. Seeing the price of Yuneec’s hard backpack (about $160), this is a perfectly capable backpack to haul around your H drone and basic gear. For $40ish bucks, it’s a screaming deal.

Not bad for the price

I think this back pack will be prefect for the average Drone flyers, it has locations for two batteries and battery charger and extra blades and it secures the Typhoon H so that it won’t flop around inside the bag. It uses the same Styrofoam case that it is shipped from the manufacturer and it fit perfectly inside the case. This case appears to be water resistant, dust resistant and can take some banging around. It is lightweight so if you do have to travel with it on your back it is not overbearing. It has additional pockets on the side that can hold the information cards sent with the Typhoon, and there is a big pouch with a zipper underneath the red ban. All in all I think this is a really good backpack. If you have no plans of taking your drone with you, you can remove the Styrofoam and use the backpack for a over night bag.

I LOVE THIS CASE! Honestly, for the price it is absolutely perfect! It’s light weight, very easy to carry and the foam padding the came with my Typhoon H, fits perfectly in it, ensuring that my drone is tight and safe! I was planning on buying the more expensive unit until I found that it was discontinued, which caused me to stumble upon this one! I’m glad I did!

EXCELLENT CARRY BAG FOR YOUR TYPHOON H

This is an Excellent product. BODAJING shipped it quickly and I received the package in about 2 weeks.I highly recommend this bag for transporting your Typhoon H. Very well made of a heavy canvas. Heavy Duty Zippers and 3 side pockets.You have to use the FOAM Packing from your shipping box, if you threw that foam away, you will end up with an empty BAG. That being said, the packing foam that came in your box fits very snuggly into this bag. A VERY GOOD FIT.ONLY $35, certainly beats spending hundreds on other carry bags.Highly recommend this bag for Typhoon H owners.

This pack has more padding built into it than I expected. The original foam packaging from the box fits snugly in the back pack. I have not traveled with this pack yet as I just received it yesterday. It arrived in just 10 days despite the expected delivery window of 4-6 weeks. Very happy to have this soft-cover pack without the Yuneec/Typhoon brand that would advertise to everyone around me what its contents are.

Great Backpack!

The backpack bag is great and holds everything I need when going out with my Typhoon H. I would recommend it for anyone except it doesn’t even have a manufacture’s label saying where it was made. But that isn’t a big deal, really.
